WELCOME to The Palm Beaches Since its inception in 1991, the Palm Beach County Sports Commission has spearheaded The Palm Beaches’ growth to a top destination to host professional, amateur, national, and international sporting events. We have helped shepherd major tournaments to the county, from golf’s The Classic in The Palm Beaches–South Florida’s only PGA Tour event–to baseball’s preeminent Perfect Game World Wood Bat Association World Championship, to hosting the longest-running equestrian event in the world–the Winter Equestrian Festival. We have supported the development of state-of-the-art venues in the region that bring national attention to the county, including Florida Atlantic University’s FAU Stadium, which plays host to an NCAA Division I football team and a nationally televised college football bowl game every December, and two Major League Baseball Spring Training facilities–the Ballpark of The Palm Beaches (Houston Astros and Washington Nationals) and Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium (Miami Marlins and St. Louis Cardinals). As you’ll discover in this comprehensive guide to the county’s facilities, large-scale spectator sports are just the beginning of The Palm Beaches as a sports destination. In addition to the many professional organizations hosting events here, hundreds of amateur and youth sporting events call The Palm Beaches home annually. Our facilities include diverse and multipurpose venues, immaculate multipurpose fields, softball diamonds, hardwood courts, hockey rinks, equestrian fields which can be converted to more than 36 multipurpose fields in a single location, swimming pools and so much more. With more than 1,200 tennis courts, 200 ball fields, 170 golf courses, and an agreeable year-round climate, we are certain you can find the venue that meets your needs. While you’re here, we hope you enjoy the county’s 47 miles of breathtaking beachfront, omore than 200 cultural venues, and 2,400 restaurants, making The Palm Beaches one of the country’s most desirable getaways. Just bring your game–we’ll help with all the rest.

In picturesque Delray Beach, the Seacrest Soccer Complex consisted of a large multipurpose field, tennis courts, basketball courts and two softball fields when it was purchased by the City of Delray Beach in 2004. After renovations of $3 million, the city constructed three regulation soccer/multipurpose fields and a concession stand with restrooms, staff office and storage room. Now housing Hilltopper Stadium, with its lighted multipurpose field complete with press box and stadium seating, Seacrest ranks among the county’s most desirable and flexible venues, playing host to recreational and travel leagues in soccer and lacrosse, as well as local and national tournaments.
