We’ll make sure he’s got all the water he’ll need throughout the day, and an assortment of dog treats as well. THE EXOTIC ANIMAL ENCOUNTER Get ready for the animal adventure of a lifetime with a visit to the Wildlife Waystation in Tujunga, a remote, rugged and mountainous area of the Los Angeles National Forest, just north of the city. Founded in 1976 by internationally renowned wildlife rescue expert Martine Colette, the Wildlife Waystation is a non-profit safe haven for both native and exotic wildlife and its mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, relocate and provide sanctuary for animals from every corner of the world.
