From the long pole to the Bolognese and the feeder, Reglass specializes in the production and tailoring of any fishing rod, both for recreational and racing use. An exclusive epoxy-resin formulation providing the composite material with unique characteristics of vibration damping and higher strength. Embedding a reticular metal structure in the carbon fiber composite itself, it creates a very smooth superficial finishing together with anti-friction characteristics. Suncore™ is unique: Unlike all other poles on the market whose productions are forced to use invasive processes (e.g grinding), Suncore™ completely avoids them, leaving the pole’s surface carbon fibers untouched. Anti Friction System TM AFS™, Reglass ’ patented formulation, consists of an innovative process that confers smoothness to the surface of the pole without grinding it. Teflon Joint™, Reglass ‘ patented formulation, consists in a fine wrap of pure Teflon directly bonded onto the male joints of the pole, dramatically reducing carbon-to-carbon wear. A simple twist locks the sections in place, untwist the opposite way quickly unlocks the sections. R

Research-Action and Reaction The principles of dynamics transferred to advanced composite materials are the core of ReCast . Focussing on angler’s practice, ReCast matches the goal to act on the vibrational behaviour of the rods. Nanolith™ Technology overcomes the tendency, common to all composites, to create inner tensions, the result is the total elimination of energy dissipation. Nanolith™ assures the perfect transmission of launch energy to the artificial bait, lure or spinner and the optimized recovery of the fish. R

The Process - Matrix and Fibre - reinforcement Reglass owns the control of the entire process, starting from the raw material, carbon fibres and the variety of epoxy resins in use, up to the final quality check. The ductile selection of areonautic degree carbon fibres impregnated with proprietary matrix, is the first step of Reglass ’ in-house composite pre-preg production. The distinctive feature of Reglass ‘ process consists in the faculty to aligne different types of carbon fibres in one prepreg. The combination, aeronautic degree fibres + own pre-preg production, leads to the construction of high structural rods that are not subject to breakages. R

ReCast rods furthermore benefit from an outstanding formulation that combines both, the SunCore™ and the Antifriction™ Technologies, thus achieving an unrivaled surface smoothness and homogeneity that is incomparable to the products available in the market. The abrasion of grinding machines, commonly used in the production of all poles available in the market, by all means, heavily weaken the surface of the poles themselves, thus shortening their lives considerably.
