The Ilhas Selvagens are situated in the North Atlantic between 30º 01' 35'' and 30º 09' 10'' North and 15º 52' 15'' and 16º 03' 15'' West. They are 163 nautical miles from the island of Madeira and 82 nautical miles from the Canary Islands. Access to the islands is by sea and there are no regular services.
