Grades K-2 Madallyn Warner: Park Tudor Teaching Assistant July 6 - 10 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. $145 What could be better than food, physics, and fun? Join us for a hands-on class that combines eating and science in a fun, exploratory and safe manner. Campers will learn chemistry protocol, kitchen and food-prep safety, and keep a journal of experiments and discoveries. From tasty slime to exploding marshmallows, you will not want to miss this sometimes tasty, but always entertaining, science camp.

LEGO Robotics

Grades 5-6 Dario Untama: Park Tudor Teacher July 6 - 10 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. $155 Fun with Robotics offers an exciting and excellent introduction to robotics, problem solving and computer science concepts! Students learn how to build and train real robots to perform acrobatic stunts, dodge obstructions and even maneuver through obstacle courses. Emphasis is placed on providing a fun and educationally stimulating environment where students can reinforce and expand their analytical and problem solving abilities. No prior experience is necessary and beginners are encouraged to join. This course is limited to 15 students and fills up quickly! Register today!

Computer Science

Grades 3-5 Lori McIntosh: Park Tudor Teacher July 6 - 10 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. $150 Students learn fundamental computer science skills by engaging in a variety of activities ranging from developing their own interactive game to acting out functionality. The goal of this course is to expose students to the wonderful world of computer science and strengthen problem-solving skills. Key concepts include conditionals, algorithms, binary code, debugging and societal impacts of computing. This course follows a curriculum that aligns to CSTA and ISTE standards as well as many national Math, English Language Arts and Science standards. No prior experience is required and beginners are strongly encouraged to enroll.
