Free Bus Service During the Kimball Arts Festival Routes of Park City’s free summer transit service will be modified during the Park City Kimball Arts Festival that runs from Friday, Aug. 3, through Sunday, Aug. 5. Busses will run Friday and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. until midnight and on Sunday from 7:30 a.m. until 10:30 p.m. Service to Silver Lake will run from 9 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. and service to Empire Pass will run from 7:43 a.m. until 6:43 p.m. The last bus to Kimball Junction will depart the Transit Center at 11:55 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and at 10:10 p.m. on Sunday. There will be no direct service to Park City Mountain or Deer Valley resorts without a transfer at the Transit Center. There will also be no outbound service on Park Avenue. Park City officials suggest riders ask bus drivers about routes or destinations. For more information, visit www.parkcity.org. Free Bus Service Returns on Monday, Aug. 6 The free summer transit service is currently in effect and will remain through midNovember. The free bus system operates daily. Peak service hours are 7:30 a.m. until 10:30 p.m. servicing Prospector, Park Meadows, Thaynes III Kings and Deer Valley with 20-minute frequency. Departing from the Old Town Transit Center to commercial areas of the Canyons, Kimball junction and outlying Summit County neighborhoods, peak service hours are from 7:40 a.m. until 8:55 p.m. The Historic Main Street Trolley runs daily from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. The lime Canyons service will remain in operation providing 40 minute frequency from 7:37 a.m. to 5 p.m.
