We seek to transform the world, beginning with ourselves, celebrating the image of God in every person. We are a house of prayer, worship, and service for everyone, welcoming all who are seeking an inclusive community of love.

Our History: Although Episcopal services were held in Park Rapids as early as 1910, the church was officially organized in 1913 as a mission in the former diocese of Northern Minnesota, since merged into the Episcopal Church in Minnesota. In 2003, Trinity Church was recognized as an ecumenical shared ministry between the Episcopal Church in and the Presbyterian Church USA and has attracted national attention for its unique witness to Christian interdenominational cooperation. In addition, the Episcopal and Lutheran (ELCA) Churches have approved “A Call to Common Mission”, allowing for an exchange of pastors/celebrants between these two groups, and Trinity frequently welcomes a Lutheran pastor to the pulpit.

All Are Welcome: Trinity Church features a warm and welcoming fellowship involving a year-round resident congregation as well as an “extended” congregation of seasonal residents, visitors and guests. The congregation includes worshippers with a wide variety of religious denominational backgrounds. Services are usually conducted in the liturgical tradition of the Episcopal Church, with the Reformed tradition of the Presbyterian Church observed on at least one Sunday a month.
