Studio 8B3E44 delivers the idea of breaking the monotony of an office environment. For a field like architecture, interactivity is foremost. In accordance to the latter, it is not just a nine-to-six experience, but an elucidation against cubicles that hinders required intervention.

Not only does the studio sustain existing broken rustic walls and use its debris for construction, but also introduces an alternative to a fixed glass façade. 8B3E44 highlights the use of a light weight material that allows one to make a temporary change to the built form. It is a preliminary concept around the use of Aerogel as wall panels.

Amongst the bustle of the University Area in Ahmedabad, lies a lost structure. The primary site is not only surrounded by dense green cover, but also takes you to the city life as you cross the edge. With simple access to public transportation, the site is well connected to the outside, making it advantageous for the users. Ahmedabad being an architectural hub has had an incremental growth in terms of new architecture. Hence the focal point was to bring back what already exists. The project revolves around the concept of adaptively reusing the subsisting structure lying opposite the School of Architecture, CEPT University.
