create inspired wish rooms The 2011 Street of Dreams features a special addition that will stir the hearts of attendees and raise awareness for Nebraska’s Make-A-Wish Foundation. Seven homes will feature a specially designed room or space inspired by the “wish” of a local Make-A-Wish child. Since 1983, Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Nebraska strives to grant the wishes of children with lifethreatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Over the past 28 years, over 1800 wishes have been granted across the state. The wish inspired themes you will see on the tour this year include:
‘A Princess Fairytale’ by Nathan Homes. Inspired by the wish of Crista, age 4, who wants to go to Walt Disney World®.
‘Under the Sea’ by Al Belt Homes. Captures the wish of Jacob, age 6, who recently met Winter the dolphin.
‘Wish Upon A Star’ by Todd Menard Construction. Inspired by the foundation’s mission and will feature the wish of Seth who went to Walt Disney World® on his 5th birthday. ‘Go Big Red’ by Royal Homes. Nate was born and raised in Hastings, Nebraska. His passion for building was deeply rooted as he grew up in the business working with his dad, brothers and uncles.
