AQUATICS LAP LANE POLICY
The lap lanes are provided for those wishing to keep fit through continuous lap swimming. All swimmers must be able to swim continuously and demonstrate knowledge of lap swimming etiquette. Swimmers unable to do so will be asked by the pool staff to leave the lap lane.

Memberships provide access to all recreation centers and swimming pools in the Plano Parks and Recreation system. The annual membership must be paid all at once. The month to month membership is paid in monthly installments via Mastercard, Visa or Discover.
The Masters Swim program is designed for adults (18 and up) of all levels who wish to improve their swimming technique, strength, stamina and flexibility. Competitive opportunities based on age classifications exist for individuals wishing to compete in swim meets. Coached practices are held at Oak Point Recreation Center and Tom Muehlenbeck Center.

Children 2 years and younger are admitted free. Children 6 years and under must be supervised by and within arms reach of a paying adult (16 yrs or older) at all times. Proof of residency or employment is required prior to purchasing or renewing a membership. Membership cards are issued at Carpenter Park Recreation Center, Liberty Recreation Center, Oak Point Recreation Center and Tom Muehlenbeck Center. Members are required to show this card for use of the gyms, weight area, racquetball/squash courts, track, game room or swimming pool. Memberships are not required to attend recreation courses.

The fees are $30/two week introductory trial; $45/month; $105/quarter; or $400/year. The monthly fee entitles participation in all Wetcat practices. Quarterly allows access to both lap pools until 2pm. Annual membership gives full access to all Plano Recreation Centers and all Plano swimming pools. There is an $8 drop-in fee which is a coached workout for that day. Swimmers may customize their own practice schedule at either or both of these facilities from the following workout schedule:
Enjoy a pool side birthday party, family reunion or neighborhood party in a pleasant environment. Rental time is two hours and certified lifeguards are provided. A variety of rental plans are available starting at $100 for a two-hour rental up to 100 people. Ask about our Party Area Rentals which will allow you to have your party during the public swim times! These are available at Oak Point Recreation Center, Plano Aquatic Center, Liberty Recreation Center, Tom Muehlenbeck Center and Jack Carter Pool. Pool rentals are available to non-residents for an additional fee.
**Pool rental reservations cannot be made more than three months in advance.
