Shortcomings in the Methodology Adopted
Acknowledgement
This internship experience I had with Town and Country Planning Organisation (TCPO) Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi has been a very great opportunity for my personal and professional development as a budding Urban Planner. Therefore, I consider myself as a very lucky individual as to be a part of it and I am also grateful for having a chance to meet and connect with so many wonderful people, students and professionals with similar background of study at different institutions who led me though this interesting phase.

Bearing in mind previous I am using this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude and special thanks to my mentor Sh. R. Srinivas (Town and Country Planner, Head, Metropolitan & Union Territories Division) during the period of three months from 21st June, 2021 to 31st August, 2021. He has been associated with Town and Country Planning Organization since 1991 and is very proactive as a professional who in spite of being extraordinarily busy with his duties, took his precious time out to hear, guide, review and keep me on the correct path by allowing me to carry out my research projects at their esteemed organisation during the training. I choose this moment to acknowledge his contribution gratefully which would be really helpful for me future projects and thesis work.
I perceive this opportunity as a big milestone in my career which I will strive feeling privileged to use the skills and knowledge gained in the best possible ways. Hence, I will continue to work and enhance my skills/ capabilities in order to attain desired career objectives. At last, but not the least I would like to thank our Head of the Department Ms. Preetha RaviSree Sajin, all my faculty members at the university and family members; my mom for her eternal blessings, my brother for his immense support and my late father as without their guidance this couldn’t have been possible. Now I am here at the edge of this joyful journey in the discipline of Urban Planning seeking immense scope by bridging the gaps/ challenges later during this pandemic situation globally and afterwards in life.
Sincerely,
Paras Mongia
