Take the kids out to catch a mess of Sunfish or toss out a couple top water lures to catch a nice Large Mouth Bass. You can fish for Class A Muskies in the Apple River, and if you go further south, you will find Class II trout as well as the infamous Pike Hole. Thousands of walleye fingerlings have been stocked in Pike and North Twin Lakes.

NORTH TWIN LAKE is a 135-acre lake located in the heart of the City of Amery. The lake is accessed by a new boat launch on north Keller Avenue.

LAKE WAPOGASSET has three lake accesses located along the west shore off County Road’s C and F, and two on southeast shore off County Road’s C and F.

PIKE LAKE is a 159-acre lake with public boat access on the west shore off County Road H and Pike Lake Road. Panfish are also abundant making the lake a perfect spot to take the younger fisherman. Two fishing piers located on the east side of the lake which can be accessed from York Park.

THE APPLE RIVER is a 70 mi (113 km) long tributary of the St. Croix River and runs through the city. The boat landing is on the end of Birch Street East and also off of River Shore Lane.

BEAR TRAP LAKE is a 241-acre lake, is a favorite destination for boating, skiing, tubing or swimming.
