I got a glimpse of how the management consulting teams work and what kind of services they provide. This is when I became fascinated and motivated to pursue a career in management consulting. After consultation with the experts working in this field I came to know that an MBA was essential to achieve my goal. Now after a year of relevant experience, power of knowledge seems to call me out persuading me to seek more, the dream I nurtured during my graduation has grown with me and I hope the day of realization is not far off. Now that I have a technical knowledge I would like to fulfil my ambition to become a technical manager of manufacturing company and thus decided to study MBA for as minimum eligibility to get engaged in high post like technical manager in manufacturing firm. Engineering with MBA degree in my country in the current market scenario is demanding. But due to the weak and theoretical based education system in Nepal most of the manufacturing companies with high reputation globally are not able to scout most skilled and well trained personnel with both sound technical and managerial skills. So, I am sure, once I get back to my country with a Canadian MBA degree in hand with the real time experience of the practical education, there would be value addition in the dream I pursue and would be easy for me to start off my career again in Nepal. I also feel that Get
No one in my immediate family has ever even had the good fortune to apply to a graduate school, but I have always contemplated going to graduate school even before I began my undergraduate career. That is the kind of person I am always strategizing my next plan of action. More importantly, I have always understood the importance of having a master's degree. While I have always had my heart set on attendinggraduate school, I was previously unsure about the specifics of how I would earn my master's degree. Now I am confident that getting a Master of Health Administration from Johns Hopkins University would help me accomplish much more than simply my career goals.
There are 3 fundamental reasons why I am applying to this program. First, this program would help me achieve my career goal. I have taken a keen interest in healthcare consulting and I would appreciate a job at a company like McKinsey, Deloitte, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Healthcare consulting would give...show more content...
By the time I graduate I will have been a part of the Zhu lab for 2 years. At the Zhu lab, I have been assigned to numerous projects, but the one that stands out is "Drug Transporter–Mediated Drug–Drug Interaction between Metformin and LCZ696". I was involved in every part of this project; my colleagues and I designed this experiment, conducted it, troubleshot it, analyzed the results, and even presented our findings at a symposium. The project used techniques like mass spectroscopy, high–perfromance liquid chromatography, and tissue cultures to observe the drug–drug interaction. While there were numerous obstacles because I had never participated in a project like this, and there were times when the experiment was not working and we had to troubleshoot the problem, at the end of the day, we always persevered. These projects were incredibly daunting, but, ultimately, gratifying, and allowed me to develop fundamental research

The world of finance and business is a complicated and ubiquitous arena, and the axis around which most of our society's most important issues move. Having worked for a number of years in a multitude of administrative positions, I feel in many ways as though I have merely skimmed the surface of a field that is brimming with professional opportunities. The pursuit of a Master's in Business Administration will enable me access tap previously unused resources in my own skills set, giving me the formal education to take my knowledge to the next level. I felt at ease in this setting, but unchallenged by the work. Yet the experience was a stepping stone for a series of post–college positions that gradually saw my duties expand, particularly in the area of finance and accounting.
As an account manager at a legal copying service, I was responsible for managing the accounts payable and receivable, though my most important function was as liaison between clients and the operations department. Making sure projects were completed on time was of paramount importance, and I learned a great deal about managing a fast–paced, high–stress environment through both teamwork and effective leadership. In my current position with small accounting firm, my administrative duties are broad, and include the management of team members, account reconciliation, researching and producing reports on potential and current clients, and even website maintenance. I am able to draw on all facets of my educational and professional background, I source a great deal of fulfillment from my integral importance to the company. Yet, this job, like so many of those I have held since college, has a ceiling over my potential advancement, I am now eager to enhance my value in the professional market.
Apart from improving my leadership, communication, and business management skills, I want to deepen the core of my understanding of the world of corporate finance, and its increasingly global reach. Given my background in computing, much of

I came to the United States last year and it has been an extremely rewarding experience. I have truly enjoyed working and living in a multicultural environment. In my professional life, I have taken on greater challenges and led a team in the expansion of a new business. I also joined the Toastmasters where I honed my English communication skills and made new friends. My greatest delight is that I found my life's passion.
This began when I took a journey to my hometown last November where I encountered my strongest school competitor after 12 years. She, unfortunately, had dropped out at 15 to get married and had a daughter with a heart condition, which subjected her to domestic violence and economic pressure. I empathized with her because of my personal experiences. My father was abusive and forced me to quit school at 14. However, my determination got me admitted into a seniorhigh school in Shanghai. This was the beginning of a phenomenal journey. Currently, I work at a Global 500 Company and are testimony that girls can make a difference. I am also the pride of the family notwithstanding the perception in my hometown that girls are inferior to boys.
Consequently, I purposed to help women who are deprived of a basic education and the resources to make a better life. A local...show more content...

I knew things was not going to be easy, and throughout the process I would face many challenges and outside influence to divert from my original plan, at that time I set a goal that I would have my Bachelor degree before I turn 34 years old, that was accomplished on time, I also had set a goal to further my education with a MBA in 5 year after my graduation, I am so focus to succeed that I want to anticipate that plan and start the MBA now. I have always been energized by competition. Sometimes too much so, as I have difficulty maintaining interest in an activity if there is not a competitive aspect to it. Imagine my excitement when I found the opportunity to combine my passions Wisconsin SMS is a stock market simulation competition that pits teams from schools around the state against each other with one goal– to realize the greatest profit on our initial "investment." I joined the Investment Club at school and was paired with two partners. While we were partners in name, I took the lead. The first prize was an all–expenses paid trip to New York City and tours of the New York Stock Exchange and other financial institutions. I decided immediately that trip was mine. Research is a crucial aspect of trading stocks– understanding recent trends and comprehending information on a company or business allows me to project the future trend of a certain stock. I began exhaustive studies of trading concepts and techniques, as well as how to research individual stocks. I also had my Father to learn from. He taught me how to interpret data and read charts, patiently explaining many of the nuances of the market....show more content...
It was a chance to be my own boss. Buy or short, sell or hold, I got to make the decisions that would determine the level of our success. Although the stock market is a gamble, I love being able to take educated risks. I learned from my failures and proceeded at my own pace and direction. It was exhilarating and bold, which is exactly how I see myself as well. My team was doing great, initially with a top–three standing. As the semester progressed, we took a fairly sizable lead. And then it happened. Another team had a massive turn–around with about 3 weeks to go in the semester. They went from 4th place and way behind us, to first place with a large lead, all in one
