My Personal Commitment to You
Dear Residents,
Serving Singapore and Singaporeans has always been my motivation for public service.
I previously served as MP in Pasir Ris–Punggol GRC but lost in GE 2020. Even after that setback, my commitment did not waver. I continued as NTUC Secretary-General because I felt a responsibility to take care of our workers at the height of COVID-19. Today, standing for election in the new Jalan Kayu SMC is a continuation of my service.
The strong Fernvale-Jalan Kayu community spirit I’ve witnessed inspires me. Under Mr Gan Thiam Poh and Ms Ng Ling Ling, both Fernvale and Jalan Kayu have made steady progress—better homes, improved public facilities, and a more tightly-knit and caring kampung. But there’s still more we can do together.
