NAIDOC Day celebrations By HAYLEY FERRIS THE kids and staff at Dubbo West Preschool celebrated NAIDOC Day on Wednesday, August 3. They welcomed the Delroy Campus Aboriginal Dance Group to put on a special performance and the Delroy Campus child studies group did some face painting. They also had a barbecue lunch, a cake and participated in lots of activities such as beading and a drawing competition.

Samba Experience at Dubbo West Primary School By HAYLEY FERRIS DUBBO West Primary School students were treated to some musical interaction on Wednesday, August 3. They took part in a 90-minute percussion workshop led by award winning community musician Tom Harding. Tom has been leading these musical workshops for schools, community groups and businesses since 1997.
