Letter from Manager, Chris Sutton We were very happy with how the Breakfast with the Prime Ministe event went and how many business people turned up at such an early hour. I appreciated having the opportunity to work with both the Glen Innes and Ellerslie Business Association to make the event a success. I received some positive feedback via email and there was a general buzz in the community about the breakfast with a comment from Lee at Gourmet Café saying ‘people feel more positive about Panmure after hearing about the Prime Minister coming into our area’. Thank you so much for a great opportunity this morning. I enjoyed it. Keep me posted if any good event happening around us... Regards Kala, Sri Puteri’s Well done with this event.

On Thursday 13 June I attended the NZMA Hospitality & Cookery School Open Day at their Panmure Campus. It was quite the party scene with support from The Edge Radio Station. With numerous students guiding visitors around and interactive food stations it was easy to see why this school has been such a success. If you are looking for further education in these fields why not pop in for a chat with the friendly staff at 104 Queens Road. Lisa

Thanks and more thanks Its always warming to know there are people in our Business Community who will lend a hand when they can. Every now and then we are approached by people in need who are on hard times. Time and time again Kevin of Ace Hire and Mike of Eastern Mowers and Chainsaws have been there waving a magic wand. I would personally like to thank them for their kindness.

Kevin @ Ace Hire

In addition to this I have to offer my on going thanks to the Salvation Army for their long term assistance to those in need in Panmure. You will have seen them in the service lanes assisting us with our annual clean-up. A kind word to them while they toil never goes amiss. Thanks also to the Landmark Bar that has helped us on many occasions when we’ve needed to clear away some extra rubbish, we do appreciate your help.
