A Registered Dietitian works with individuals to assess and assist dietary needs and nutritional goals. RDs consider diet, medical history, blood tests, weight trends, and other factors in making a nutrition diagnosis and developing a personalized dietary plan. RDs frequently work with other health professionals to coordinate nutrition therapy with medical or surgical treatments.
