MESSAGE FROM ANIL CHOPRA , FOUNDING DIRECTOR, PALM AV-ICN EXPO

Indian AV Stakes Global Projects in Bold Surge

Indian AV is impacting projects worldwide. Global media is gaga about Indian AV industry’s capabilities. The design factor and the integration engineering teams in the top systems integrators are acquiring marquee projects not only in the middle east but also in southeast Asia. Sigma AVIT has operations in the Philippines. Deepak Srinivas Prakash Rao are awarded AV-ICN Architects of the Year. In fact, all the global platforms in AV technology have been awarding Sigma AVIT.

It means a lot for us at AV-ICN to recognise the professionals who are leading India to global position of leadership in AV technology. Our mantra is to build India’s strength in AV manufacturing. Thus, we have also recognised Online Instruments for being pioneers in AV manufacturing. AV-ICN Awards are meaningful. The AV-ICN Expo is growing roots each successive year. We have established the certification course CAVS, which is the identity of AV industry’s independent thinking. What is going to flourish is a strong platform developing, promoting, Indian talent, Indian product and critical design in AV integration, communication and networking. The geopolitics of possessing our own voice and technology is evidently clear in today’s world, with the US demanding iPhone production be stopped in India. Digital intelligence components cannot be imported at your own need. The writing is clear on the wall, make your own or be subjugated.

Fortunately, Indian market is robust and probably the best in the world. Whether its religious, education, sports, hospitality, corporate, airports, metros, railways, banking, control rooms, retail, or residential, demand is exploding, and AV is being installed with state-of-the art technology. As we witnessed at ISE, display is the AV market in every which way, interactive, touchscreen, anamorphic, LED, monitors or signage. One can also witness in India the tremendous explosion of digital signage in every corner of our life. Thus, the demand and consumption and challenge of a competitive market means investment guaranteed. This will reflect on the exhibit floor of AV-ICN in the coming years. Cheers!

THE SENNHEISER MKH 416 SHOTGUN MICROPHONE TURNS 50

One of Sennheiser’s most revered microphones, the MKH 416 P48 shotgun microphone, celebrates its golden jubilee this year! For 50 years, the MKH 416 has accompanied broadcasters, filmmakers, voice-over artists, and content creators; it has been used in studios and in the field. Mounted onto a boom pole, a stand or a camera, its job has been to stay outside the camera angle while gracefully capturing sound with clarity and impact.

Time travelling to the

1970s

The name of Manfred Hibbing is firmly linked with this milestone product. When the young engineer joined Sennheiser, his first task was to design the MKH 416 P48 based on the MKH 415 T. The MKH 416 was to be Sennheiser’s first phantom-powered (P48) shotgun microphone, while all previous models were AB-powered. In those days, AB powering was preferred in broadcast situations because of its resistance to ripple volt-

ages, but phantom powering had become established in the studio.

50 years old but always up to date

Hibbing’s involvement was a stroke of luck for the MKH 416 RF condenser microphone, as he possessed ample expertise

both in electroacoustics and in RF technology. In an interview in 2023, he said that optimising the interaction between the electroacoustic transducer and the electronic circuit had been his favourite task in designing the 416.

The long lifespan of the MKH 416 P48 fills the engineer with pride:

“During all this time, the design of the MKH 416 was only revised in two instances: one was to make it suitable for SMD mounting, and the other to update it for a more advanced transducer technology.”

“The MKH 416 continues to be a standout in our shotgun microphone range, even with the introduction of newer models over the years,” says Vipin Pungalia, Director – Pro Audio and Country Head, Sennheiser India.

“It’s a legendary product in our portfolio—renowned for its versatility, durability, and exceptional performance. The MKH 416 is one of those rare microphones that got everything right from day one.”

Further, NETGEAR’s ST2110-capable series of switches reinforce the company’s rapidly evolving product road map that reflects today’s shifting industry standards. By joining the DPP, NETGEAR can continue to encourage and accelerate adoption of AV over IP.

“As traditional enterprise switch manu-

facturers turn their focus from broadcast to emerging IT trends like AI, NETGEAR remains dedicated to working closely with the media industry to create seamless, scalable solutions for broadcast and production environments,” said Pramod Badjate, President and GM at NETGEAR.

“The DPP has collaboration at its core, which makes this a natural place for us to join forces and help drive the industry forward together.”

By joining the DPP community of over 500 key players in the digital production ecosystem, NETGEAR will collaborate more closely with industry leaders, helping to usher in the next generation of advanced broadcast and digital production networks.

CONCLUSION

This project underscores the power of transforming shopping spaces through digital displays into lively and engaging environments. The indoor and outdoor LED displays from Xtreme Media’s Nyx Series not only met but surpassed client’s requirements, reinforcing the leadership position of the brand in digital display solutions. By leveraging the versatility and brilliance of Nyx Series, the mall successfully elevated its customer experience, setting a benchmark for innovation in the retail sector.

In an era where home cinema setups are getting increasingly sophisticated, one crucial element often determines the difference between a good experience and a truly immersive one—the screen. Recognising this, Lumina Screens, India’s AV screen manufacturer, introduced its latest innovation – Accupix Pro.

Behind-the-screen audio just got upgraded with a unique micro-weave dispersing sound evenly. Designed for discerning home theatre enthusiasts and professional AV integrators, this new woven screen material combines two essential elements like never before – ultra-sharp visual fidelity up to 16K and exceptional sound transparency.

At the heart of Accupix Pro lies its advanced micro-weave technology — a tighter, more refined pattern that minimises texture and maximises detail clarity. This unique structure allows sound waves to pass through the screen without distortion, making it ideal for speaker-behind-screen setups, while still delivering colour neutrality and High Dynamic Range (HDR) visuals.

“Audio transparency is often compromised in acoustically treated rooms or behind-screen setups. Accupix Pro solves this with precision-engineered fabric that doesn’t force you to choose between sound and picture quality,” says Abhishek Badave, Business Development Executive at Lumina Screens.

With Accupix Pro, Lumina Screens reinforces its position as a future-facing brand in the AV industry, bridging the gap between innovation and real-world application. It is a product designed not just to display content, but to transform the viewing and listening experience altogether.

AV INTEGRATION

ELECTRO-VOICE AND DYNACORD ENABLE STORYTELLING AT JHANSI FORT

Electro-Voice and Dynacord equipment are used to help tell the story of Jhansi Fort in northern India. The display uses the fort itself as the canvas for the visuals, while a powerful audio solution was required to cover the large audience area.

Jhansi Fort was originally built in the 17th century and saw heavy fighting during the Indian Mutiny of 1857–1858. To highlight this while educating visitors, the fort’s 30-minute sound and light show depicts the life and death of Lakshmi Bai.

The attraction uses a 270-degree, 83mwide projection-mapped canvas on the walls of the hilltop fort, which was created by systems integrator, Pan Intellecom. A powerful 5.1 audio solution from Electro-Voice and

Dynacord was selected to complement the spectacular visuals while also providing a sense of immersion for the audience.

The 5.1 surround sound system relies on 12 Electro-Voice Sx600 high output two-way loudspeakers supported by four EVF-2151D dual 15“front-loaded subwoofers. Power for the solution is via eight Dynacord L3600FD 2 x 1800 W DSP power amplifiers. Selecting these high output

models ensures that a large audience area can be covered. Meanwhile, the audio quality means that visitors are fully immersed in the show.

The main challenge for the project came from the truncated timescale to deliver the solution rather than the technical requirements. The initial project timeline was shortened by two months to ensure the production would be ready to show India’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, who was visiting Jhansi Smart City. Fortunately, Pan Intellecom team was able to work day and night alongside other contractors to ensure the new deadline was hit. Read the full news on AV-ICN Expo Magazine’s website.

BIAMP DELIVERS ADVANCED AV SOLUTIONS FOR L’ORÉAL

Biamp, one of the leading suppliers of professional audiovisual (AV) solutions, announced the successful completion of an advanced AV system installation at the L’Oréal corporate office in Mumbai, India. The project transformed the company’s café and town hall spaces into dynamic, high-performing environments capable of supporting a wide range of corporate activities.

The L’Oréal Mumbai office regularly hosts town hall events, customer gatherings, and team-building activities, making exceptional audio quality and reliable integration with Microsoft Teams and Zoom essential requirements. The previous system had been plagued

by poor audio clarity, inadequate sound pressure levels, and integration challenges with virtual meeting platforms.

In response, Mumbai-based AV systems integrator, Netlogic designed and installed a cutting-edge solution leveraging industry-leading Biamp technologies. The comprehensive installation features a Biamp Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom certified large meeting room bundle,

which includes the Tesira FORTÉ X 400 digital signal processor; Parlé TCM-XA and TCM-XEX Beamtracking microphones; and Desono C-IC6 loudspeakers. The solution also incorporates Desono EX-S8-UB-W surface-mount loudspeakers, Community ALC-1604D amplified loudspeaker controllers, and Tesira AVB video encoding and decoding technology.

“For the L’Oréal project, the timeline was a significant challenge, but thanks to the seamless coordination between Biamp and its national distributor, Exodus, all products were delivered right on schedule,” said Saji Dharmadas of Netlogic.

The team furnishes meeting rooms, lobby, banquet hall, and other establishments of Moxy Hotels with JBL, AMX, and many cutting-edge solutions for world-class audio and video experiences

If making a bold statement through unconventional hospitality were a competition, Moxy Hotels in Mumbai would wear the crown with effortless flair. Channeling the vivacious spirit of the City of Dreams, Moxy Hotels, part of Marriott Bonvoy’s renowned global portfolio, radiates the playful, social charm of an alluring metropolis. It attracts both the young and the youngat-heart with its dynamic guest offerings and spirited service, every corner draped in whimsical and eclectic tributes to the joy and glamour of the entertainment capital of India.

To complement an energetic yet warmly inviting ambience,

the hotel sought an immersive sensory experience that wove a dance of sound and music across every inch of its luxurious oasis. Be it the fun lobby, the vibrant bar, the soothing lounge, or the opulent in-house restaurant, there was a need for an interoperable and scalable entertainment ecosystem.

SOLUTIONS DEPLOYED AT MOXY HOTELS

Setting the stage for a welcoming and engaging experience, HARMAN implemented a premium background music system throughout the public areas, including the lobby, lounge, bar, restaurants,

and outdoor spaces. This setup featured a combination of JBL Control 47CT in-ceiling loudspeakers, which gave consistent coverage and extended bass performance, along with JBL Control 26CT ceiling speakers, which are known for their high-performance audio output and broad distribution. To support these, ultra-compact JBL Control 42C satellite loudspeakers paired with Control 40CS/T subwoofers were strategically positioned to provide powerful, natural sound with minimal visual impact in the gym. Additional JBL 26CT full-range in-ceiling loudspeakers were installed for high-sensitivity sound reproduction in all day dining & private dining areas and cafes, while JBL AWC62 all-weather compact loudspeakers ensured robust sound in outdoor areas.

To achieve simplified adjustment and signal management across all audio zones, the hotel deployed Apart EVOL 120 volume controls equipped with 24V priority relays, guaranteeing that microphone calls were broadcast at the optimal volume. Building upon this foundation, BSS EC-4BV Ethernet wall controllers and the BSS BLU 100 signal processors were utilised for configurable and reliable digital audio distribution, enhancing both efficiency and user-friendliness. Further ensuring robust sound distribution throughout the public spaces, JBL CSA 240Z, CSA 140Z, and CSA 1300Z amplifiers featuring DriveCore technology were employed to complete the integration of the entire audio system. Beyond background music, Moxy’s banquet hall required a more dynamic and adaptable sound system capable of handling everything from corporate presentations to high-energy celebrations. The arrangement featured JBL Control

67P/T pendant speakers, driven by a robust JBL CSA 1300Z amplifier to maintain uniform, high-quality sound. For live speeches and performances, AKG WMS470 presenter set and AKG WMS470 vocal set D5 microphones were chosen for their clear, interference-free wireless audio. To maximise signal strength and ensure a sophisticated experience across large events, the system also included AKG APS 4-EU and AKG RA4000 B/EW antennas, allowing for stable and efficient signal transmission without dropouts.

This sophistication is carried over to the meeting rooms, which were carefully designed with flexibility and user-friendliness in mind. JBL Control 26CT ceiling speakers, along with JBL CSA 140Z amplifiers, supplied pristine audio output suitable for presentations and discussions. To optimise the space’s multimedia capabilities, AMX ACR5100 Acendo Core Meeting Space Collaboration System offered cohesive integration with various web conferencing platforms, document sharing, and scheduling tools. The room’s video distribution was powered by AMX PR-0402 Precis 4x2 4K60 HDMI switcher, guaranteeing uninterrupted routing of ultra-high-definition video signals across multiple screens, including LG 65UM3E and 55UM3E commercial displays, and Samsung QB65B and QB55B displays.

Efficient multimedia connectivity was also upgraded by AMX DX-TX-WP and DXL-RX-4K60 wall plate transmitters and receivers, which offered reliable 4K and UHD video transmission over extended distances. Furthermore, the AMX MD-702 Modero G5 Wall Mount Touch Panel and AMX NX-1200 NetLinx Integrated Controller provided intuitive control over all AV

THE FUTURE OF SOUNDSCAPE: IN DEPTH DETAILS ON SPATIAL AUDIO TO AI-DRIVEN PERSONALISATION

We stand at the threshold of an auditory revolution, one where sound escapes the flat confines of stereo to embrace the full sphere of human perception. Nowhere is this transformation more palpable than in Bangalore, where the hum of innovation syncs with the rhythm of tradition.

Walk into any of the city’s cutting-edge research labs, and you will witness sound being reborn. At IISc’s Sonic Environments Lab, engineers map how auto-rickshaw horns move around Church Street’s curves in spatial audio simulations, while beneath your feet, the metro’s vibrations translate into sub-bass frequencies you feel as much as hear. Over at RV College, students don AR headsets to analyse 3D soundscapes of Vidhana Soudha—where peacock cries ring from above, construction pulses spatially from the east, and street vendors’ calls fade precisely as they would in physical space.

This isn’t merely better audio. It’s a fundamental rewiring of how we experience place and memory. Urban planners now test traffic noise dispersion before breaking ground. Architects walk through unbuilt structures, hearing how sound will travel. Historians preserve the acoustic fingerprints of vanishing Bangalore landmarks. The implications ripple far beyond entertainment, revealing new dimensions in civic design and cultural preservation.

BREAKING THE FLAT SOUND BARRIER

For decades, audio has been trapped in two dimensions—left and right channels that fail to capture how sound truly moves around us. But spatial audio is changing everything:

• Cinema’s new frontier with the Dolby Atmos remix of Kesariya (Brahmāstra)

isn’t just louder, it places each instrument precisely where it would be on a live stage, with A R Rahman’s flute solos floating overhead and percussion radiating from the corners of the room.

• At IIT Madras, the CARE lab transforms seismic data into spatial audio landscapes allowing researchers to ‘hear’ earthquake patterns through 3D sound movement, making complex data intuitively understandable.

• Bangalore’s Art of Living centre now uses ambisonic recordings (captured with Sennheiser’s AMBEO mic array) for meditation sessions where Himalayan streams seem to flow around listeners, and temple bells resonate from specific directions to enhance focus.

AI’S SONIC REVOLUTION

From Fortune 500 boardrooms to smart city infrastructure, spatial intelligence is redefining enterprise audio. At a multinational’s Gurugram HQ, our AI-driven conferencing system now interprets room dynamics in real-time automatically suppressing echo in vacant spaces while amplifying vocal clarity during crowded townhalls. Nearby, voice cloning APIs (like those from Indian innovators Skit.ai) enable multilingual PA systems that switch between Hindi, Tamil, and Kannada announcements without losing the speaker’s emotional cadence. The transformation extends to Pune’s tech campuses, where our spatial audio installations create adaptive soundscapes: as employees transition between collaborative hubs and focus zones, algorithmic sound masking adjusts seamlessly, tuning itself to architectural blueprints to maintain perfect acoustic privacy. This isn’t just incremental improvement—it’s audio that thinks.

SOUND THAT MEANS BUSINESS

Bangalore companies are proving audio branding goes far beyond jingles:

• Swiggy’s 1700Hz order-confirmation tone was tested in Koramangala cafés to cut through ambient noise.

• Wipro’s campuses use directional sound zones for simultaneous yoga/ market news streams.

• Namma Metro’s planned AI announcements (similar to Singapore MRT) will adjust volume based on crowd noise (pending trials).

THE SOUND OF TOMORROW

The future of audio is no longer about isolated speakers filling rooms with sound, it’s about intelligent systems that shape acoustic environments to human behaviour. Imagine boardrooms where voices emanate precisely from each executive’s seat during global hybrid meetings, or luxury retail spaces where ambient soundscapes subtly shift as customers move between departments, guiding them through branded auditory journeys. In corporate lobbies, generative AI adapts background compositions in real-time, softening harsh frequencies during high-stress morning arrivals and transitioning to energising motifs as employee foot traffic peaks. This is spatial intelligence at work: sound that anticipates rather than reacts, enhances rather than intrudes. AVSI is engineering these invisible architectures where Bose Professional’s dynamic beam steering meets Biamp’s Machine Learning for selfoptimising venues.

The result? Technology that disappears, experiences that resonate, and enterprises that speak not just to ears, but to instincts.

INTENT: HOW DOT MAVERICKS CRAFTED

AN IMMERSIVE ESCAPE AT ‘COVAH – THE CAVERN’, GURUGRAM

to be Gurugram’s

Iprojection-mapped

n a city where most restaurants jostle for attention with blaring speakers and neon theatrics, COVAH – The Cavern, a restro-bar in Gurugram, India, takes an entirely different route Tucked into the heart of Sector 43, this restro-bar draws guests

While experiential spaces are fast becoming the standard, Tier-I and II cities like Gurugram are pushing new adoptions even in restaurants, cafés, and hotels. DoT Mavericks, known for turning cityscapes and historic façades into immersive canvases, saw this opportunity as something more than a projection project. The team transformed COVAH – The Cavern, a restro-bar, into one of Gurugram’s most unique hospitality experiences. This feature shares an insightful story on how DoT Mavericks immerses COVAH’s diners through projection mapping on the walls of COVAH and its technical expertise that went behind crafting the unique ambience.

into its story. The cave-like walls, ceiling, and even lighting ensures the guests’ immersive experiences at COVAH.

This was the outcome of an ambitious, open-ended vision, and it took DoT Mavericks India LLP to bring it to life. When COVAH’s

Designed

restaurant, COVAH- The Cavern draws the attention of the diners with experiential design

creators approached DoT Mavericks, they had a desire to build a space that didn’t just serve food and drinks but immersed people in an experience. In fact, DoT Mavericks has delivered a space that no one has attempted before. The team built the blueprint from scratch, transforming raw sketches and cave-inspired dreams into one of Gurugram’s most unique hospitality experiences.

THE CHALLENGE: BREATHING LIFE INTO STONE

While most projects come with measurements and material plans, this one came with a provocation: “We want to build a cave. And we want the cave to move.”

The idea was as poetic as it was technically complex. For DoT Mavericks, the challenge was to create an immersive experience on a canvas no one had worked with before. The walls of COVAH weren’t smooth drywall or polished cement. They were hand-sculpted from a blend of cow dung, coconut husk, and lime materials that are breathable, natural, and deeply textured. Beautiful? Yes. But incredibly unpredictable when it comes to light behavior, color absorption, and projection mapping. Every surface reflected visuals differently, every curve distorted the image in subtle ways.

Turning these surfaces into projection canvases was a challenge most would walk away from. However, DoT Mavericks ensured the delivery of every inch like a moving sculpture.

Precision Projection Mapping: Aligning visuals flawlessly to the contours of the restaurant’s architecture was paramount. Every corner, curve, and surface had to be accounted for to ensure seamless storytelling.

Lighting Management:

Maintaining the vibrancy and clarity of the projections, even amidst fluctuating ambient lighting, demanded innovative calibration and strategic adjustments.

While most projects come with measurements and material plans, this one came with a provocation: “We want to build a cave. And we want the cave to move.”

to evoke emotion and immerse guests in the narrative, all while complementing the dining experience.

THE SOLUTION: INTEGRATING THE PERFECT VISUALS

The team leaned in as they conducted a full LIDAR scan of the entire interior, capturing every curve, recess, and angle. With this hyper-detailed digital model, the team was able to map visuals with pixel-level precision. No distortion. No guesswork.

Then came the centerpiece: a 2.5-metre circular screen, designed not to stand out, but to integrate. It looks like the core of the space rather than just an add-on. Projection-mapped content flows in and out of it, syncing with the vibe of the space.

Using BenQ’s LU960ST2 projector, the team delivered stunning brightness, fast response, and short-throw projec-

A COLLABORATION BUILT ON ARTISTIC INTENT

Given the layered complexity of the project, DoT Mavericks worked closely with Pink Noise Professionals Pvt. Ltd., the official distributors of EAW in India. The brand deployed its state-of-the-art EAW audio system to enhance every projection with immersive soundscapes. Pink Noise even stepped beyond their typical role to directly support the installation and tuning, which is something they reserve only for standout projects.

WHY IT MATTERS

For DoT Mavericks, this was a statement. It proved that immersive storytelling belongs as much to lifestyle spaces as it does to museums or festivals. That diners, too, crave a multi-sensory journey. And that with the right blend of technology and design, hospitality venues can become destinations and spaces that inspire, engage, and linger in memory.

In cities like Gurugram, where the bar for experience is rising every day, the success of COVAH sets a precedent. It shows how new-age customers are hungry for such innovations.

CRAFTING THE FUTURE OF SPACES

DoT Mavericks India LLP continues to lead the charge in experiential design, whether it’s a palace façade, a city monument, or an underground bar that wants to feel like another dimension. Their work at COVAH is a glowing example of what happens when imagination meets intent and when audio-visual design becomes a form of storytelling.

Spatial Constraints: The centrepiece of COVAH - a circular ceiling LED screen presented a unique challenge. Achieving distortion-free visuals on a 360-degree canvas required meticulous 3D mapping.

Content Customisation: Each immersive theme needed to be intricately designed

tion, all essential to navigate the room’s tight, intimate structure. The 5200 ANSI lumens projector for crystal-clear imagery, captivated the vivid details with its WUXGA (1920x1200) resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, and 3,000,000:1 contrast ratio.

Ankur Srivastav, Director, Experiential Technologies, shared, “The artist sees it as a piece of art”. When I visited the place for the first time, I felt a tremendous amount of energy not only because it is fascinating but to see the architectural façade to make an experience. It is like reaching a dream destination. While designing this project, I had a vision to create an immersive installation which, will become a symbol in Gurugram, and we succeeded.”

AV DESIGN: SOUND AND LIGHT SHOW

ANSATA AND STUDIO ONE TOGETHER TRANSFORM AMBAZARI GARDEN INTO A PICTURESQUE LANDSCAPE

Blending High-End Technologies with Thoughtful Execution, The Project Creates a Visual Feast for Ambazari’s Visitors in Nagpur

Ambazari garden, located by the side of Ambazari Lake, shares a scenic surrounding and tranquil ambience with the people in Nagpur, India. The expanse of Ambazari lake and garden is quite large and hosts a statue of Swami Vivekananda on the eastern corner of the lake. Furthermore, the amphitheatre, with a capacity of 300 people, is created in RCC,

mostly by using the contours of the land available. The control room contains two projectors, audio racks, and integration racks. With the aim to provide visitors a descriptive view of Swami Vivekananda’s life, Nagpur Metropolitan Region Development Authority planned to create a sound, light, and multimedia

SISPL ELEVATES CATERPILLAR’S CORPORATE BOARDROOM WITH WORLD-CLASS AV INTEGRATION

SISPL (Solutions India System Pvt. Ltd.), one of the top providers of digital meeting rooms solutions, recently deployed state-of-the-art AV solutions at one of the corporate boardrooms in India. This case study, shared exclusively with AV-ICN Expo Magazine, explores intricacies witnessed during the deployment and the team’s dedication to deliver world-class communication and collaboration solutions to the client.

SISPL integrates corporate boardroom with 110” display for high-resolution output, wired presentation setup, and Huddly camera for high-quality video conferencing

The client required state-of-the-art AV installation for their corporate boardroom to enhance their meeting and presentation capabilities. SISPL’s team was briefed to equip the boardroom with a 110” display for high-resolution output during presentations and meetings, wired presentation setup using a mercury device with BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) capability, and a Huddly camera for seamless integration with

Teams/Zoom meetings, providing high-quality video conferencing.

SITE RECCE AND INSTALLATION FEASIBILITY

Before the project commenced, SISPL (Solutions India System Pvt. Ltd.) conducted a thorough recce of the site to ensure the feasibility of the installation and to pre-empt any potential challenges. The team carefully examined the space and layout, confirming the

suitability of the designated spots for each piece of equipment. The recce was crucial for the smooth installation of all materials. There were minor challenges related to conduit, electrical, and data point placements, as other vendors were working simultaneously. However, with effective coordination between the vendors and SISPL, these issues were resolved without significant delays or obstacles.

Rising Rajasthan: Crafting a Panoramic Vision with

Pixel & Ratio

Project Completion: December 2024

Region: Jaipur

When the Government of Rajasthan envisioned a powerful cinematic opening for its Investors Summit, the mandate was clear—create something bold, immersive, and future-facing. Rising Rajasthan, a panoramic AV produced by Pixel & Ratio, rose to the challenge.

The film was projected on a massive 270-degree LED screen measuring 86 meters wide and 5 meters high, with a staggering 19200 x 1280-pixel resolution. The scale demanded more than conventional storytelling; it required a complete reimagining of visual design, composition, and motion.

Anchored in the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047, the narrative blended evocative emotion with solid sectoral insight. From industrial corridors to innovation hubs, from royal heritage

‘Vishwaroop Ram’ Exhibition Experiences the Grandeur with Splat Studio’s Rich Integration

Project Completion: January 2025

Region: Bhubaneswar

Splat Studio has crafted the ‘Vishwaroop Ram’ Exhibition for the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) at the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) Convention 2025 in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The event organised by the Government

to renewable energy, the film showcased Rajasthan as a land of legacy and limitless potential.

Two production teams covered key locations across the state—from the deserts of Jaisalmer and the marble clusters of Kishangarh to tech parks in Jaipur and logistics hubs in Bhiwadi. Filming was done in 8K using Sony Alpha1, Sony Alpha ILCE-1 and DJI Inspire 3 drone, capturing high-detail visuals for the ultra-wide format.

Instead of a traditional postproduction workflow, the team composited the entire film on a 19200 x 1280-pixel timeline. Us-

ing three synchronised 8K video plates, the panoramic visual was stitched and designed as a single, unified canvas, ensuring spatial accuracy, continuity, and scale.

The post process involved panoramic compositing, cinematic colour grading, custom motion graphics and animations, spatial sound design, and original score composition. Transitions and layouts were choreographed to guide the audience’s attention across the curved screen, ensuring that visuals were coherent and immersive no matter where the viewer stood.

With just over two weeks from shoot wrap to final delivery—including two rounds of client feedback—the team raced against time while maintaining high production quality.

When Rising Rajasthan premiered at the Jaipur Convention Centre, it captivated a hall full of investors, dignitaries, and global business leaders. The overwhelming response was described as visionary, immersive, and a benchmark in government storytelling. More than a film, Rising Rajasthan became a panoramic declaration of pride, progress, and possibility.
