Comfort Fit Layered sheets of soft foam conform to your body shape keeping the PFD comfortable and secure.
fabric Fabric with an exceptional strength-toweight ratio, and high resistance to tears and abrasion.
Removable chest harness Our quick release chest harness can be reversed, left-to-right, on most models. Strong 38 mm nylon webbing is mounted high up the back of the PFD for stability under load (tested to 2.5 kN).
3D anti ride-up waistbelt The adjustable waistbelt is positioned on the inside of the buoyancy foam panel for full contact around your waist, and a grippy rubber finish prevents your PFD from riding up.
Failsafe shoulder straps A continuous loop of webbing runs through to the PFD down to the 3D waistbelt for security under load. Tested to 3.2 kN (ISO 12402-6:2006).
Hydration bladder compatible A drink bladder compartment, allowing you to quench your thirst hands free.
Drop down seat Drop down rear relief opening – no need to take off any other gear.
Colour coded sizing Coloured webbing and fabric panels according to garment size, to make fitting easy for centre or commercial use.
XP 4-layer fabric Our high performance 4-layer fabric is engineered for extended durability, extra waterproofness and great breathability.
XP 3-layer fabric Our performance 3-layer fabric is supple, durable, highly waterproof and breathable.
Latex neck This stretchy natural rubber neck gasket inside the collar keeps water out, and the inside of the garment largely dry even when fully immersed.
GlideSkin neck A great alternative to a latex seal; almost as dry, but more comfortable for frequent use or salt water paddling.
A hard working 2.5-layer fabric with a great combination of durability, waterproofness, breathability and light weight.
XP 2-layer fabric Our 2-layer fabric is packable, lightweight, waterproof and breathable, which is ideally suited for our recreation and touring gear.
UPF 50+ An ultraviolet protection factor (UPF) of 50 allows only 1/50th of the UV radiation from the sun to pass through. In other words, it blocks 98% of the UV radiation.
Twin waist Jackets and pants have an inner skirt in addition to the adjustable outer waistband. The twin waist minimises water ingress between your jacket or pants and spraydeck.
Amara leather A tough and durable synthetic microfibre leather, which has a soft feel. Suede-like Amara fabric is used to reinforce high wear areas on in our work gloves.
Channel Flow An ideal baselayer fabric, Channel Flow’s instant wicking design draws moisture rapidly to the outside of the garment away from the skin.
Waffle fleece Waffle fleece has air channels to allow excellent breathability and ventilation within the fabric, while remaining well insulating.
AquaGuard zip A splashproof zip with a polyurethane coated tape to keep the rain out. AquaGuard zips are not fully waterproof when immersed.

NeoPrene High quality 100% chloroprene rubber provides great insulation from the cold. We use a range of face fabrics and finishes for comfort and abrasion resistance.
Immersion waterproof zips, pressure tested to 500 mbar, made from thermoplastic polyurethane with extra strong plastic zipper teeth and a salt water resistant metal slider.
NeoFlex A super thin 4-way-stretch neoprene bonded to a Thermospan liner. Great as a stand-alone layer in warm conditions or under a paddle jacket when it's colder.
fabric Italian fleece specialists Pontetorto make warm, supple fabrics renowned for their soft, natural feel. Their Tecnostretch waffle fleece is Bluesign certified.
odour control Wear more, wash less. A permanent fabric treatment which inhibits the bacteria responsible for that unpleasant damp gear smell.
Thermofibre lined neoprene A knitted plush lined neoprene, which is exceptionally warm and comfortable wet or dry.
Mesh Skin neoprene A grippy rubber neoprene surface, which keeps you in place inside the seat of your kayak or paddling your board out through the surf.
