Conclusions Patients with EM and CM face misunderstanding of the level of disability associated with migraines and the impact of migraines on ability to work and social interactions. The incapacity and needs of patients with migraine are often underestimated by HCPs, family members, coworkers, and members of the public encountered in daily life. This can lead to stigma for both patients with EM and those with CM.
