Orders
Orders must be in written form with purchase order number. Orders with fixed artwork will not be scheduled for production until proof approval is received. Shipping dates will be confirmed upon receipt of the proof approval.
Credit Terms and Conditions
For new customers, terms are COD, cash in advance (including shipping charges), Master-Card, or VISA unless other prior arrangements have been made. Cash in advance orders are not placed into production until payment is received. Please allow two weeks to set up a new account from the time credit references are received.
Rush Orders
Rush orders are accepted only if production allows. Rush charges may apply. Please contact Imperial for production availability and rush charge quote.
Dated Events
Orders for dated events must include a deadline date. If Imperial is unable to meet your deadline, you will be notified shortly after receipt of order. Imperial will not be responsible for missing an event date if it is not specified on the purchase order. Imperial will not be responsible for delays in guaranteed delivery due to shipper.
Copyright And Trademark Laws
Imperial assumes when artwork is submitted for an order that the artwork was submitted in full compliance with the laws governing copyright, trademarks, etc. Purchasers placing these orders agree to hold Imperial and any associated companies harmless for any damages and/ or arising under these laws as a consequence of use of such trademarks or logos.
Tape Set Up Charges
$75 tape set up charge will apply if order is less than 72 pieces and dst file is not provided.
Extra Stitches
Standard embroidery includes 10,000 stitches in one location. Anything over the 10,000 stitches will be an additional charge of $0.10/1000.
Tape and Edit Charges
Reduction or enlargement of Imperial’s or customer supplied tape $50.00 each. Maximum enlargement or reduction 20% of original size. Some reductions or enlargements may require a new embroidery tape to maintain embroidery quality. One line edit $30.00 each.

Customer acknowledges and agrees that Imperial may, among other methods, invoice separately for any such tariffs, increase the prices for the applicable goods, and/or apply a surcharge to the price of any item subject to a tariff or increase in tariffs.
Production Time - Stock Caps
Blank stock caps can be shipped within two days of order. Embroidered stock caps will normally ship within 10 days after tape approval.
Production Time - Custom Caps
Normal production time for custom caps is 10 to 12 weeks after proof approval. Due to unforeseen production demands or material delays, production time may vary. Please contact Imperial for current production time.
Fabric Color Variations
Due to variations of dye lots, we cannot guarantee exact color matches of material with each shipment. Certain twills and distressed materials may have shading variations within in the cap themselves.
Metallic Thread
Add $0.50 each. Gold and silver threads are available.
Artwork
No art charges are required when camera ready artwork is provided. Camera ready is high quality black and white, color separated line art to size. Touch up charges may be required if camera ready art does not meet standards for decoration ordered. Faxed art, photocopies, and halftone art are not camera ready. Imperial reserves the right to use discretion on minor layout changes or embroidery sizes that will not affect the overall appearance unless otherwise instructed. When exact size is required, it must be stated on the purchase order. Artwork charges are $35.00 per hour.
Embroidery Colors
Color matches cannot be guaranteed to be exact, whether PMS colors or color swatches. Every effort will be made to match color as close as possible. Distressed materials in all colors have a tendency to bleed into colored embroidery threads.
3D Embroidery
Prior approval needed for 3D embroidery.
Dry Cleaning Or Washing Of Caps
Imperial does not recommend dry cleaning or washing of its caps.
Duplicate Tapes
Same size at time of punching $25.00 each.
