This study involved assisting with arranging + designing a display space for the SACS visit. SACS, Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, is the accrediting organization for UNCG. The display included work from a range of departments within the university. This independent study also included additional projects focused around Exhibit Design and Display Design.
Spring, 2014 Location: UNCG Type: Exhibit Design Illustrator CAM Lab Wood Shop
In order to secure funding for any display pieces from the university, students had to design pieces that could be used in multiple facilities and events after the exhibit. Duties included curating artifacts, signage design, display mechanisms, communication skills, experience in the wood shop, furniture building, transportation coordination, meetings with university officials, meeting deadlines
