Since her first steps on stage, she wanted to combine her two passions : music and acting. She proved that she could do it and achieve them, Bethany joy took opportunities available to her and we see with years that she has managed her career. She writes her own songs . Her first album, entitled “Preincarnate” was released in 2002, the second “Come on home” released in 2005 and the third “The Starter Kit” released in 2006 •

She held the role of the clone "Reva Shayne" the doppelganger of a teenage girl in the soap “Guiding Light”. Her performance of "Reva" received very good reviews, people applauded her performance in the soap. In “Guiding Light”, she has given credibility to the characters and performed it with perfection. Then two months later, the producer Paul Ranch found it excellent and offered her the role of Michelle Bauer, Danny Santos’s future wife in the same soap. Around 1999, she played Rose Cronin in “Mary and Rhonda”. In1999, at the end of her two years contract with “Guiding Light” she decided to leave her role as Michelle Bauer and would like to focus on other projects to see what the future holds. Bethany decided to devote herself to music. She formed a group with friends, they performed in the New York cabaret club (Knitting Factory). She appeared in Stephen King’s movie “The skin and bones" as Linda Helleck in 1996 and in the comedy “Bring It on Again” as Marni Potts a cheerleader. She guest star on television shows as Felicity, Off –Center, Charmed, Maybe It’s Me and The Guardian. A new series One Tree Hill appeared on WB, and they’re looking for actors . Her manager sent her a script of the pilot "Raven", she found the story good and she wasn’t really feeling after a few pages. Mark Schwahn called her and told her that the pilot was going to be named One Tree Hill and she read the script entirely and then changed her mind about the show and do all she can to be part of it . She participates in a larger audition for the role of Brooke but purposely does not play well. And auditioned for the role of Haley, she made a screen test with Chad Michael Murray as Lucas Scott and there was a real

chemistry between them. Of everything she tried, she had a preference for the character of Haley. Only two hours after auditioning they called to announce her that she has the role. In the credits , she goes to Joie Lenz to Joy Lenz to avoid problem in her name’s pronunciation . At 22, she began filming. Shortly after the audition they began filming the pilot, the WB validated the project before being broadcast on television screens. The series will become a worldwide success.

An empty set with a piano this is where it all began when Mark heard her sing. He proposed to her that for her role to become a singer. The opportunity to do her two biggest passions, she sang a duet with Tyler Hilton on Ryan Adams’s song “When the Stars Go Blue”, which will become part of the compilation. The series gives her the opportunity to make a promotional tour for the series with Tyler Hilton a.k.a Chris Keller, The Wreckers and Gavin Degraw at the same time with her character on the show but she will make a few appearances in half of season 2. Bethany Joy released a single "Feel this" a duet with the group Enation and which she sang in the final episode of season 5. Subsequently, she performed songs with Everly. In episode 6x11, she played Mrs. Scott - Scheming Star Hotel Cafe - Karen's Cafe also taken from the first Everly’s album Mission Bell. 2012 will be the last for the show “One Tree Hill” for actors and the biggest fans in the world. We all followed over the years the adventures of Lucas, Nathan, Peyton, Haley and Brooke with their problems in every episode season by season and from teenagers to adults. The final season began filming July 18th 2011 and ended on November. Six months of filming before it airs on The CW on January 11th and will have13 episodes. She created an online store “Lark” offer T-shirt with designs that all have a meaning drawn, designed by her and some of the proceeds will be reversed associations. With her friend Amber Sweeney, they decided to collaborate and share their passion for music and storytelling and created Everly and they compose their songs together. Several albums and singles are out. At their Corn Palace concert, they performed new songs and old and have announced that there will soon be a new album planned. Bethany Joy Galeotti and her friend Amber Sweeney have a band called Everly. They decided to combine their passion for music and form their duets in autumn 2008. The meeting between these two artists started when Amber was the singer for the group Enation (little known in France) where she also met her future husband Michael Galeooti also part of the group. The group is an American duo originally from Battle Ground in Washington State. In 2008, the duo had a huge success with their project. They released an album entitled Mission Bell with three songs. The album came in second in the charts on iTunes and then hit the top spot in just two weeks. Since then, the duo enjoyed success with "Track B" from the album on which Bethany Joy interpreted four songs with her band Everly on the soundtrack of the hit series “One Tree Hill.” The songs include four original 2nd album - B Tracks vol.1:” Quicksand”, 3rd Albums - Tracks vol.3: “Maybe” came out in 2009 and a 5th album - B Tracks vol.3: “Flying machine”, “We belong”, “Girl in the moon” released in 2010 which have all figured on iTunes and CD Baby. The duo has also released a fourth album composed of acoustic Christmas songs in 2009 entitled “Fireside” and was also placed # 48 on iTunes during the holidays in Top Albums. Everly participated in three concerts USO Concert in 2008, Tin Pan South in 2009 and Corn place last year in 2010 where they sang new songs and previous. A few days after the concert "Corn Palace", they announced that there would be a new album soon which would contain new songs. In July 7, 2011 via twitter Bethany Joy showed a picture of her and Amber in the studio and announced that they were recording their new album. Everly signed with an independent record label “Hilasterion Records”

¤ Different interviews of BJG known as

Haley James Scott, here are some questions she answered at in magazines:

Where are you with music? - I'm working on my first album. For now, its title is The Starter Kit and I hope it will come out next year. But project, expect my music to be exactly like Haley’s. Her is more pop trend, while mine is more likely oriented blues.

What do you hate the most in this business? - Auditions. It's really unpleasant to be permanently judge. I would prefer that producers have lunch with me take the time to know me and based their decisions on my past experience But I have so often changed my name, that today I have to audition again so they don’t forget me [laughs]. I played under the name of Bethany Joy then Bethany Joy Lenz Galeotti and since

Where are your musical career? - In parallel range with the filming

of the show, I'm working on a new album. of the show, very excited about this do not a joy and stress about singing new songs. So many emotions mixed, it's something! I am perfectly fine share to my time between music and comedy.

You seemed far away from Hollywood life? - Yes, I much prefer my life with my husband in our home in Washington. But it's still not easy to keep. So many people tell you that you are awesome it is so easy To convince you ... [Laughs] What saves me, my faith in God. It gives me the strength to be humble and generous even when I do not want.

I got married. I guess some people are little confused.

Does the fact that some girls take you as a role model makes you pressure? - It is of course a heavy responsibility to know this stuff. Especially when these young Girls are very young and influenceable. We have No right to do anything wrong just by Respect for these people. I love talking with People and I consider it my duty to remain honest and Natural when I meet fans. However, I preserve my true me, who is not known to my love ones. My weaknesses and my strengths, my joys and my troubles are those I consider my family

Are you satisfied with the progress of Haley? I love this character. Haley is a nice girl, simple and courageous. Of course, she made mistakes as everyone and did her best to fix them. It’s like that when you grown up, by deceiving and learning her failures to improve. And I think that Haley Nathan are a perfect matched.

How does your marriage has changed ur life? Before Michael, I was very ambitious. I thought my career has been successful. I thought happiness was to visit the world alone and live in luxury. I was so wrong! Since I know Michael, I discovered that life together is wonderful. Today my career is not my priority. Obviously, i want to continue acting and singing, but if I fail, i know someone will be there to catch me. Now my dreams are very different. I want to start a family and see our children grow up in our home. I do not intend to get pregnant

What do you enjoy doing more acting or singing? What would you rather win, an Oscar or a Grammy?

I can love or hate acting depending on whether the material is good or bad, but I’ll always love singing. As far as winning an Oscar or a Grammy… I don’t care much for awards. If it’s like an appreciation kind of award or something like that, that’s cool, but I think Hollywood’s turned it into a competition and I don’t believe in that. I mean, who are we to say that one person’s best is better than another person’s best? That’s also why our public school system is so messed up, but I won’t get into that :) Lol. I don’t know, I just think people should do projects they believe in, and not projects that will win them awards.

Have you ever felt that you have to look a certain way to work in Hollywood? Absolutely. Lies about your physical appearance in Hollywood creep in like a nasty serpent in your bed. It’s awful. “Who’s got the best outfit?”, “Who’s makeup artist is terrible?”, etc… I’ve really been learning that I have to choose to believe that it is not my clothes or my hair or my makeup that is going to make me shine. It’s a battle I fight everyday with myself.

Do you hope to collaborate with your husband again on anything, musically? Bethany: Yes, absolutely! I'm sure we will, someday. That would be fun. But, we don't have any plans for that, right now. We've got so many other things in our field of vision, but that's always an option.

What's it been like to play a mother on the show? It's great, playing a mom! I love Jackson Brundage. He's a fabulous kid. His mom's really wonderful, and he's got a great little brother and older sister. They're just a really loving family, and so easy-going and great to have around the set

You never know what you're going to get with kids because the parents can really ruin the experience for you, if they're not cool. But, Jackson's mother and her husband are just so cool, and they could care less about this industry, which makes them so much more fun to hang around. I really love their family. What are your hopes for Haley this season? I think that after 8 years we've sort of run the gamut. It's nice now, I've just been enjoying sharing the time with the other actors, seeing Haley's family and her life with Nathan. It's our last season so we're all just really excited to be doing good work and to see how everything ends up rounding out. We're kind of past the point now of future hopes and goals. It's more like let's see how everything runs its course. We all love what they do in the writer's room, they all put their brains together and deliver great stuff, so it's always nice to see what's next.

Memories first audition: "One Tree Hill's" Bethany Joy How did you end up getting cast on the show, if someone was already hired for your role? Bethany: They called me again and said, "That pilot, "Ravens", is called "One Tree Hill" now. Take a look at it because we want you to come in and read for this character, as we're going to try to bring in a new girl." So, I took a look at the pilot and was like, "How did I miss this?" I was kicking myself for turning down the pilot audition. I just couldn't believe it! It was so well made, and I was really impressed with the heart of the story, the characters and the writing. I called my manager and said, "I have to do this. This is spectacular!" And, she said, "Okay, great! There's a catch: it shoots in North Carolina." So, I went to the audition, then I went to a bigger audition and then I went to a screen test where I read with Chad Michael Murray, and some sort of magic just happened in that room, between the two of us. Everybody could feel it. I had screen tested for a lot of different things and I had never felt that spark or connection. I left the audition and Chad chased me out into the parking lot afterwards, gave me a hug and said, "Welcome to "One Tree Hill". I can't give you the official word, but I think it's as good as yours." Then I got the phone call about two hours later, telling me that I got it. I had about seven days to get my stuff packed up and shipped out, before I found myself in North Carolina. When you watched the pilot, was there anything specific that you responded to that made you decide you wanted to be a part of the project? Bethany: I responded to the small town aspect. There were a lot of shows on TV that were very glamorous, young Hollywood shows, and I liked the idea that this was more cozy and there was more opportunity for characters than there was for story drama, just for the sake of glossiness. I always respond to the heart of a story, no matter what. So, when I watched the pilot, I thought, "Man, there are so many places they can take these characters." And, I loved Haley. I thought she was so cool and fun. She was the girl I always wanted to be when I was in high school. She didn't fall into any particular circle. And, she just had this great wit, where I thought, "I wish I had wit like that. I want to play her, so I can pretend to have wit like that." How did you originally get involved with "One Tree Hill"? Bethany: It was just a random audition. I was really selective about the projects I wanted to attach myself to, and I still am. Pilot season was winding down and I got a script for this show, "Ravens", from my manager, and she said, "I think you'll really like it." I was feeling lazy, so I skimmed through it and really only looked at about a page and a half. I just thought, "I'm not into this." It wasn't because I thought the writing was bad, or anything like that. The writing was great. It wasn't because of any particular reason, other than I just wasn't feeling it. I didn't get it and somebody else did, and the show got picked up. By Christina Radish on 20 avril 2009

The End One Tree Hill ends this year or next year, or whenever, what's the most valuable thing you think you'll take away from the whole experience? - I think for sure the relationships that I've built. All the friendships, all the people, the good and the bad. The relationships that ended. The ones that will end, you know a lot of people don't stay friends forever. I think just overall it's going to be the journey that I went through. I grew so much as a person and I'm eternally grateful to this show and to Mark [Schwahn] and Greg [Prange] and the people that have been there from the beginning and stood by and walked us through every moment of on stage and off stage drama with us. It's been awesome. I'm forever grateful.

History : • Doesn't it seem like a lot of work to always find something to put your weight on? I tried leaning on stuff all day today and it was incredibly uncomfortable, not to mention a total waste of time... Maybe that's it... Maybe it's the "I don't care" attitude or the "I'm-too-cool-to-stand-up-straight-and-be-involved-in-anything" vibe Leaners are going for. But the question still remains: Why is this considered so attractive?

Is it our innate feminine desire to be validated as "worthy" of the attention of the guy who doesn't care about anything? A desire to be Annette Bening to the Leaning Warren Beatty's of our world? And why is that so important? Is it a lack of fathering? Why don't we believe that we're beautiful enough and valuable enough to the point where we are so easily captivated by a guy who is literally posing all the time? I mean, what is UP with that!?

An vintage air Found on the site :www.bjgofficial.com/ Ok, I've been getting a lot of requests to do another hair blog. Thought I'd show you guys how to do a vintage/retro 'do...

Start with your hair blown out. You'll need: A medium barrel, high-quality curling iron A few metal clips to hold curls in place for shape A teasing comb Hairspray One) Pin hair back behind the "tucked" ear with a hidden bobby pin Two) Copy my iron placement and wrap hair almost fully around the barrel once. Three) Keep the shape of the curl by rolling it up.

Four) Pin the curl "forward" rather than the natural instinct to go "backward".

Five) Move on to the front section. Tease just under the top layer for height. Then, lift the top layer and copy my iron placement in the photos. Do not adjust the way you are holding your hair as you wrap. You're not looking for a smooth curl around the barrel, rather, you want to allow the hair to twist naturally into itself as you wrap around the iron. Six) Maintaining the shape of the curl, pin up the top section. Again, pin "under" so as to lift the base of the top part.

Seven) Take the second section on the same side and copy my iron placement. Remember not to adjust your hold on the end of your hair. Let your hair twist naturally as you curl.

Eight) Pin this section up in the traditional "backwards" way-- the opposite of what you did on the other side that is tucked. Nine) Curl & pin the third section in the same way as the prior two.

Ten) Give it a good spray and let it sit for a while.

Voila !

The Dutch Boy: Hair's 1920sl The Dutch Boy style was a striking style made popular by the actress Louise Brooks. The style led to Brooks being referred to as "the girl in the black helmet" because of the the close sharp style of the cut. The Dutch Boy was cut with a squared-off fringe and squared-off bangs that frame the face. It was reminiscent of the sharp lines of the art-deco style popular at the time.

Around in the house: Bethany Joy did not go to her house in Washington for over three months because of filming "One Tree Hill" which takes place in Wilmington, North Carolina and go to different stores on her days off. She unearthed unique items in vintage shops and on Etsy. In local nurseries, she bought flowers and vegetables to plant in their garden. She has bought it and let you discover the decoration of her house that she makes with her husband Michael Galeotti. - Left: The first piano she bought when she was in Burbank. She passed by a piano shop and it was on sale. The white reminded her of the studio when she lived in Los Angeles. She found an old vinyl record player from1940 which has a radio on it in a vintage shop. Works very well and is great to use. Price: $ 65 the special little shelf on the corner is perfect to holds trinkets as this birthday’s book in antique silver a family album with photos of her marriage. - Right: In an antique shop, she found a towel printed with NO.2. In all the places she went, she pick up souvenirs during her travels to places that have a sentimental value for her. For example: a cup picked up in New Bern where she stayed. Right next to the red cup with the locals is a jar of vanilla sugar house. A framework bought Etsy.com. She said don’t ask why. It's a beetle in Papua New Guinea (country). Her collection includes a pearl butterfly and a dragonfly emerald, all framed and incredibly beautiful and above by the colors in nature. In another vintage store, she found a wooden mirror that was part of a piece of barn laid in over the stone fireplace with a family tree that is a wedding gift. She took a picture of half of the tree on the wall around the mirror sees a lot of small frame with photos.
