Archive Park takes into consideration the long-term effects architecture has on the natural environment. Archive Park consists of abandoned concrete infrastructure attached to the underside of the Eastlake overpass just hovering above the ground. By utilizing unused concrete, building without the need of a foundation, and creating an attractive use for unneeded freeway infrastructure, this project explores how concrete can be used in a sustainable manner.
