PAGE Honors Georgia’s 2020 STAR Students and Teachers The PAGE Student Teacher Achievement Recognition (STAR) program honors Georgia’s highest achieving high school seniors and the teachers who have been most instrumental in their academic development. To earn the STAR designation, students must meet criteria based on SAT score, school ranking, and written and intra-personal skills. The students compete on local, regional and state levels. Among this year’s 574 STAR honorees, 21 students and 21 teachers were named regional STAR winners. Due to the COVID-19 virus, the PAGE STAR State Banquet scheduled for April was cancelled. As with so many other events around the state and country, we were compelled to think of the safety and health of all participants. We offer our thanks and appreciation to the many organizations that sponsor local and region events and the STAR banquet, and we look forward to working together again next year.
