Kalaulanilawapuni

PACT and its community of supporters are committed to raising $10 million for the purchase and renovation of Kalaulanilawapuni. As the first major capital campaign in the history of PACT, we are reaching out to foundations, corporations and every individual dedicated to Hawai‘i to seize this long-awaited opportunity to establish a permanent home for our clients and team.

The main building was built in 1965 with additional wings constructed in subsequent years on the 2.2-acre campus. Funds raised will be allocated to infrastructure improvements and facility updates to preserve the building's historic character while allowing for the expansion of PACT programs onsite.

Pact Welcomed My Family With Open Arms When I Needed Help

with my twin girls. Within a week of attending PACT’s Head Start program, they came home singing songs I’ve never heard of and became more interactive by asking so many questions. Through PACT’s guidance, we set goals, reinforced routines/ daily habits and developed into a strong family unit. After COVID-19 hit, we were forced into a virtual setting and teachers would make sure we received packets at our home. There was never a time when we felt alone. PACT was not only invested in my children’s education, but my entire family’s wellbeing. PACT’s connection to the community, commitment to families and their wonderful and compassionate staff have made me a better person and parent.”

I WAS UNEMPLOYED AFTER HAVING MY FIRST CHILD AND STRUGGLED TO FIND WORK. PACT SUPPORTED ME THROUGH MONTHS OF JOB TRAINING. They helped me draft my resume and cover letter, and even followed up on my application status. After my interview, I was hired for an on-call position that eventually became full-time. Seven years later, I am now working on getting my CDA certification as I continue to improve in my profession and life, thanks to PACT!”
