ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT

The Eberhardt School of Business Career Management Center engages with alumni, industry professionals and employers to build student connections through classroom or personal interactions as well as guest speaker, networking and career events. Eberhardt students have opportunities to build professional networks throughout their academic experience with a wide range of professionals, from young alumni to senior business leaders.

A unique opportunity, our Career Development Seminar is part of the business degree core taken during your junior year. This class helps you understand the demands and expectations of the professional world by preparing you for internship searches, enhancing your interview skills and polishing a resume.

Additionally, through Pacific’s Career Services, Eberhardt students can participate in Tiger Treks, where they visit employers in person or virtually to learn what it’s like to work there and how to apply for open positions. Past Tiger Treks have included trips to LinkedIn, Netflix, Roku, Splunk and Salesforce.

[While applying for my internship with the Goldman Sachs Group], I did receive a lot of help from the adviser at Eberhardt’s Career Management Center, such as going through my resume, talking about how to go about interview questions, and also really giving me advice. She really helped me get my thoughts together and then made sure that I say everything professionally.
