Occlusion & Appliances in Everyday Dentistry
Scott MacLean practices in a implant focused approach in Halifax, NS. He has over 700,000 views on his YouTube channel showing dentists how to deal with implant related issues. MacLean lectures internationally on this topic. He currently is a part time professor at the Dalhousie School of Dentistry. Dr. MacLean is a director of the Atlantic Canada Seattle Study Club. This course will highlight some of the complex issues with cementing implant crowns. The ASC - Angulated screw channel is a “gamechanger” for implant dentistry. Understand how and why this technology works. The second part of this lecture will focus on SmartFusion technology for placing implants. Co-sponsored by Nobel Biocare Canada Inc.
Steven Hill began his study of cosmetic dentistry in 1987 and he is now an Accredited Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and has sat on their board of directors. He is a co-founder and past president of the Canadian Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. James R. Neuber held four consecutive Dean’s List. Honor designations in Dental Technology at Southern Illinois University prior to 27 years as a ceramist. He is Vice President of Ocean Ceramics. James is an educator on Digital Photography, Shade records, Smiles and Full Mouth Prosthodontics. He also advises on Mandibular Repositioning Appliances (DENTA4).
James and Steve will show critical simple techniques for Monday morning: Digital Photography and Shades; Facially Analyzed Occlusion for a Natural Smile; How Airway, Smiles, and Function connect; Digital and Analog Impressions compared; Ceramic options for longevity; Simple adhesion principles.

Lee Ann Brady is a nationally recognized educator, lecturer and writer. Dr. Brady offers continuing education workshops and seminars through the Clinical Mastery Course Series. She maintains a private practice in Glendale Arizona, is the clinical editor of the SSC Journal, and a member of the editorial board for the JCD and DentalTown Magazines.
