Geneviève Bussière graduated from the Université de Montréal. She has been a Dental Officer with the Canadian Armed Forces since 1999 and between 2011 to 2013, looked after the RCDC operations and Deputy Team Lead - Canadian Forces Forensic Odontology Response Team. Susan Woodley has enjoyed an exciting and varied career in Dental Hygiene. Her Clinical Practice has a focus on Orthodontics but she also shares a passion for educating. Her role as a Clinical Instructor for the Dental Hygiene program at her local college and a Professional Educator with RDH Connection has led Susan to her current role as a Manager of Professional Education with Philips Oral Healthcare.

Major Sandeep Dhesi graduated from the University of Saskatchewan College of Dentistry in 2001. He completed his training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the UTHSC in Houston Texas in 2010. In 2011, he deployed with Canada’s mission in Afghanistan, as the facial trauma surgeon for the Multinational Hospital in Kandahar. He is currently the Pacific Region Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon in Victoria, BC.
The end state of acute trauma management is to stabilize the patient for future reconstruction and rehabilitation. We will discuss how patients are evaluated and treated in order to reestablish pre-injury form and function based on examples from civillian and operational combat related cases. Tom Dudney has served in the past as the Clinical Director for the Aesthetic Advantage hands-on programs taught by Dr. Larry Rosenthal at New York University and the Eastman Dental Clinic in London as well as the clinical Director for the California Center for Advanced Dental Studies (CCADS) live patient hands-on programs taught in the US, Canada, and the UK.
