Big West Basketball The 2009-10 season marks the 35th year the Big West Conference has held a post season basketball tournament for the men and the 27th year for the women. The Big West Basketball Tournament is the longest running collegiate basketball tournament in the West. The annual conference tournament will be held at the Anaheim Convention Center for the tenth consecutive year. Be a part of all the excitement as the 14-game event features four days of thrilling basketball action with two Big West Conference titles on the line, as well as automatic berths to the NCAA tournaments. The 2010 edition begins Wednesday, March 10th and runs through Saturday, March 13th, highlighted with exciting Big West festivities throughout the week. All-Session tickets and First Game Vouchers are on sale now. Single-Session tickets will go on sale Tuesday, February 23, 2010.

The 2009-10 Big West Basketball ShootOut & Tour hits each campus twice from January to March this basketball season. The tour brings the excitement of the tournament to each campus through a photo collage and an audio/visual presentation. Fans will be able to purchase tournament tickets, merchandise, and win free prizes from Big West sponsors. The Basketball ShootOut is in its third season. The ShootOut is a basketball shooting competition available to all Big West students. Over 660 teams competed last year, a 73% increase over the competition's inaugural year. There are three divisions: Men, Women, Co-Ed. The co-ed finals take place at halftime of a men's basketball game on the second date of the tour stop. Each co-ed campus champion then wins a trip to Anaheim to compete in the Basketball ShootOut finals with the winning team earning a $5,000 grand prize.
