Establishment: TMC College was established in 1997 under the Ministry of Higher Education of Malaysia (MOHE) with the accreditation of Malaysian Quality Agency (MQA). The founders of the college were some pioneering international technotrats and elite academicians who wanted to bring the excellence to higher education and build future generations as tech-savvy and science-oriented independently thinking social individuals. Today this legacy still runs in the veins of the TMC personal and prevails as the core value of the institution.
Establishment: With accordance to the legal definition of “College� by Ministry of Higher Education/Malaysia, TMC College is entitled to offer homegrown diploma and Pre-University programs as well as franchised Degree and Post-Graduate programs from selected universities.
Key People: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lau Dominic Hoe Chai (College Principle, CEO) Dr Dominic Lau is a certified Blue Ocean Strategy practitioner and the Director of Applied Research Centre at Blue Ocean Strategy Regional Centre. He has a PhD and a Masters Degrees in Engineering and Business Management. He was also awarded as Honouree for ‘‘The Outstanding Young Malaysian Award’’ in year 2002 and ‘‘Top 10 Outstanding Chinese Youth Award’’ in year 2004. Dr. Lau is an appointed columnist on several newspapers in Malaysia such as Sin Chew Jit Poh, Kwong Wah Yit Poh, and See Hua Daily News.
Dr. Lau Haw Ming (Chairman) As a medical doctor and charity person, he is one of the founder of TMC College. He also founded Medic Ed Consultancy (one of the biggest education consultancy in the country) in 2002, apart from more than 10 medical clinics nationwide. He has financed more than 3 million dollars of student aid so far and has helped more than 2000 students to fulfil their dreams to be doctors.
Joseph Wang Ai Chnua (Managing Director) After graduating from biotechnology and a significant research carreer on genetics, he dedicated himself to the youth development under MCA (leading Chinese Association Party in Malaysia). While acting as the key leader in Chinese youth development in Malaysia, he served as an advisor in Ministry of Defense. Following his duties at MCA Youth Development, he joined to TMC College as a COO. He holds several achievement awards presented by Prime Minister of Malaysia personally.
Ozel Coskuner (Director, Corporate & International Affairs) He studied at Ege University (Turkey) and University Malaysia Sabah (Malaysia). In 2007, he got 2nd prize in Malaysia (84th in the world among 54,000+ competitors) in E-Strat global Business Competition. In 2008 he was awarded as “The Best Young Entrepreneur of 2008” by Malaysian Government (thenMeCD, today’s MARA). He has attended many TV and radio shows as an authority on Malaysian higher education. He is currently consultant to the Ministry of Higher Education of Malaysia and Director of Corporate & International Affairs at TMC College and TMC Consultancy.

Being an affiliation of ‘‘International University of Malaya-Wales’’ which is founded by University Malaya (#1 in Malaysia, #150 in the world) and University of Wales (UK), TMC assures highest academic standards in international level. With this affiliation all TMC College graduates are entitled to top-up their diploma to degree at IUMW / University of Wales and graduate with dual-awards (one bachelor degree from Malaysia, one from University of Wales, UK).

Diploma in Business Management: To acquire basics of global business and proceed to a successful career and as a pathway to IUMW, University of Wales, Waikato University and many more international and Malaysian universities’ Business Administration, Finance, Economics and other business related degrees.
Diploma in (Accounting) Business Management (awarded by ACCA from UK) To work as an certified accountant or, as a pathway to IUMW, University of Wales, Waikato University and many more international and Malaysian universities’ Accounting, Business Administration, Finance and other business related degrees.
COURSES (Diploma & Certification Courses – 1,5 to 2,5 years) Diploma in Electronics Engineering: For a brilliant blue-collar career, or as a pathway to IUMW, Waikato University and many more international and Malaysian universities’ Electronics Eng, Electrical Eng, Mechatronic Eng and other related degrees.

Professional Beauty Therapy and Hairdressing (by CIDESCO (Swetzerland) & CIBTAC (UK)): Awarded by CIDESCO (Zurich/Swetzerland) and CIBTAC (UK), graduates can (work at, or) start up their professional beauty or hairdressing saloon in almost all countries in the world with their worldwide recognized certificates.
COURSES (Pre-University Foundaton Courses – 1 year) For O-level* students who are requesting a fast-track transfer to their degree programs, TMC offers locally and internationally accrediated Pre-U Foundation programs. Foundation in Science: For students who want to study medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, chemistry, engineering and other science related bachelor degree programs, they can proceed to their degree in hundreds of universities worldwide after a year of foundation in TMC College.
Foundation in Art: For students who want to study business, economics, law, social sciences, psychology, and other liberal arts related bachelor degree programs, they can proceed to their degree in hundreds of universities worldwide after a year of foundation in TMC College.
PS: Students who have less than 12 years of Pre-U education are generally considered / accredited as O-Level internationally.
Intensive English Program TMC is a British Council accredited IELTS test center. Assuring the highest quality of English learning environment, TMC provides state-of-art facilities and native English teachers to its priviledged students. Following their 9-level english program, student can sit for exam in TMC College and receive their internationally recognized IELTS certificates. Basic Spoken English Program For people from all ages and background, TMC offers Spoken English Program where people can enhance their English speaking skills in a fun and practical environment.
Corporate Social Responsibility
In 2012, TMC donated RM 2.000.000 ($ 670.000) for students in rural areas who cannot afford for further study due to financial problems.
Corporate Social Responsibility: EVERY YEAR, TMC College distributes around RM 500,000 or $ 170,000 to its students who need financial support via its consultancy branch; MedicEd.
