The ESRC has changed its framework for accreditation of postgraduate training provision, effective from October 2011. As part of the University’s bid for ESRC accreditation under this framework, the Department of Social Policy and Social Work is seeking recognition for its doctoral programmes and the MPhil and MSc programmes in Comparative Social Policy and in Evidence Based Social Intervention. Should the bid be successful, it is anticipated that any ESRC studentships available from October 2011 will be advertised nationally and on departmental websites in February 2011
