EMPLOYMENT Restore Restore supports people with mental health issues to recover and get into work. Restore provides employment coaching, recovery groups and support to manage personal budgets. Restore also offers coaching to keep a job that you’re in. If your mental health condition is making it hard to cope at work, their specialist coach can help you navigate the maze of employment-related issues that can seem overwhelming. Anyone who has a barrier to work can apply to join Aspire; perhaps you've been homeless, or maybe you have a previous conviction, or maybe you've overcome an addiction. Aspire works with anyone over the age of 18, with 3 months' sobriety if drink or drugs have been a previous issue, and who do not have schedule 1 offences. Job Centre Plus Jobcentre Plus provides resources to enable job-searchers to find work, through Jobpoints (touchscreen computer terminals), Jobseeker Direct (telephone service) and the Jobcentre Plus website. They offer information about training opportunities for the chronically unemployed. They administer claims for benefits such as Income Support, Incapacity Benefit, and Jobseeker's Allowance.
