OSBPG Farrowing Update
As of May 31st, 2022 the Charity has recorded 69 litters from our members producing 297 Gilts (47.53%) and 328 (52.48%) Boar weaners. The Cynthia Bloodline is still top of the farrowing charts with 15(21.73%) recorded litters, next to Clare at 12 (17.39%). The Alison only has one recorded litter this year so far, but hoping that will change as the year goes on. The Boars had previously had a pretty even balance of sired litters, with Alexander just topping the chart with 20 (28.98%), but the Clarence has a temporarily lull with just 12 sirings (17.39%). With the higher density of breeders in the southwest it's hard to push them off the top spot, but great to see scotland at number 2 with 13.04% of the litters recorded If you have a farrowing to record with us please reach out to Kim or Andrew
