• The Racers claimed their first Ohio Valley Conference regular-season title in 2008-09 after going 16-2 in the conference. • Murray State finished the 2008-09 season with a 14-0 mark in the RSEC. The home winning streak dates back to Jan. 31, 2008 and currently stands at 19 games, the longest since Murray State moved to the RSEC. The longest home winning streak ties the longest in team history - 19 games from Feb. 28, 1987 to Jan. 28, 1989 (Racer Arena). The 19-game home winning streak puts Murray State 5th in the country for the longest current home winning streak. The 14-0 record in the RSEC last year marks the first undefeated home season for the Racers is school history. The previous best record was two losses.

Coach Adams Facts Prior to taking over the helm of Murray State, Cross spent 13 seasons as an assistant for the Racers...He is believed to be the only assistant in NCAA Divison I Basketball to remain at the same school through three different coaching regimes...Cross also served as the team’s academic coordinator...In his first season as head coach, Cross led the Racers to the program’s first-ever OVC Regular Season Championship.
