Joins Seth Rudetsky for a Beautiful Series Finale Producer Mark Cortale’s internationally acclaimed 2023 Broadway Concert Series hosted and music directed by Sirius XM Radio star Seth Rudetsky culminates with Jessie Mueller joining “The Mayor of Broadway” at The Parker on March 18, 2023. Having won the Tony, Drama Desk, and Grammy award for her starring role as Carole King in Beautiful -The Carole King Musical, Mueller most recently appeared on Broadway in Tracy Lett’s new play The Minutes. Mueller has quickly become one of Broadway’s leading ladies. After receiving a Tony nomination for her Broadway debut as Melinda in On A Clear Day You Can See Forever opposite Harry Connick, Jr., she was also nominated for Broadway’s top prize for her performances in the roles of Jenna Hunterson in composer-lyricist Sara Bareilles’ hit Broadway musical Waitress and as Julie Jordan in the revival of Carousel opposite Joshua Henry and Renee Fleming. Other major Broadway credits include Nice Work If You Can Get It and The Mystery Of Edwin Drood. At The Parker, Mueller joins Rudetsky in a spontaneous evening of show-stopping songs and intimate behindthe-scenes stories all prompted by Rudetsky’s insightful questions. The afternoon deejay on the SiriusXM Broadway channel as well as the host of Seth Speaks, Rudetsky spent many years on Broadway as a pianist and/or conductor on shows like Les Miz, Ragtime and Phantom of The Opera. Also on Broadway, he co-wrote and co-starred in Disaster! which was licensed by Music Theater International and is being performed around the country. He’s written the books Seth’s Broadway Diary Volume 1 and 2 and has also authored two young adult novels My Awesome/Awful Popularity Plan and The Rise And Fall Of A Theater Geek and the soon-to-be released Musical Theatre For Dummies. With his husband James Wesley, Rudetsky produces numerous benefit concerts and when the pandemic closed the theaters the couple began hosting the livestream Stars In The House that has raised more than $1.1 million to date for The Entertainment Community Fund.
