In fact, Atlanta is often referred to as the gay capital of the South. The gay bars and clubs are a bit spread out, but most cluster around the Midtown area. You’ll need a car, so be sure to find a designated driver and hit this friendly and fun gay scene. Nightlife isn’t all Atlanta has to offer. With a flare for the arts, Atlanta offers visitors and residents a wide selection of museums, classical music venues and a thriving theatre scene.
