hen you step into World of Nails & Hair Beauty Lounge on Broward Boulevard, it is pretty clear that it is different from other salons. The salon, which opened seven years ago is the brainchild of Erika Conde, a native of Queens, New York.Erika has always had a passion for designing and creating trendy art. She showed great talent for nail designs and airbrush makeup contouring early in her life. As a result, she took design and creative art classes while still in high school. After moving to Miami, Erika quickly became known as the “Celebrity Beauty Guru.” Her creative instincts, precise attention to detail, and love of color made her a first choice for many celebrities. Stars like Jennifer Lopez, Gabrielle Union, Christina Aguilera, Model & Actress Nadine Velasquez, the Pitbull Dancers, Dutch Model Imaan Hammam and Nickelodeon actress and singer Elizabeth Elias have all relied on Erika’s unquestionable talent. In 2013, Erika decided to move her salon to Plantation and the World of Nails & Hair Beauty Lounge was born. We had sat down with her to learn more.

How has COVID affected that Salon?
We have put a great deal of thought and care into making sure our salon is safe and sanitized for our customers, our staff, and our community. In addition, we sell an advanced biocide that disinfects, sterilizes, deodorizes, and purifies surfaces, water, and air.
