Primary Care Physicians of Hollywood hosted a Patient Appreciation Day event at its Hollywood office. The practice invited Hispanic singing artist Willy Chirino to perform.

Yvonne Murillo, Dr. Randy Gould, Dr. Mark Sabbota, Dr. Moises Issa, Dr. Stefani Green, and Dr. Isaac Vargas from Primary Care Physicians showed their support for Our Father’s House Soup Kitchen. The practice made a donation to help raise funds for a new roof and to cover costs for the 250 meals the kitchen serves daily. Primary Care Physicians also conducted a holiday canned food drive at all of its locations.

STREET RENAMING
The City of Pembroke Pines recently renamed 129th Street in memory United States Army Private First Class Juan Sebastián “Doc” Restrepo, Pembroke Pines resident and 2004 alumnus of Flanagan High School, who was killed in action following his deployment to Afghanistan. The street, which runs in front of Flanagan High School from Taft Street to Pines Boulevard, will now be known as “PFC Juan Sebastian Restrepo Avenue.”
The men and women of the Pembroke Pines Police Department invited residents to support the PPPD “In the Pink” initiative to bring greater awareness to Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.
