eautiful smiles start with the loving and caring touch of Dr. Yedda Gomes-Ruane. She has been providing gentle dental care to Weston children since 1995, caring for infants to adolescents up to age 19. Dr. Gomes-Ruane received her DMD from the University of Pennsylvania and her Post Doctoral Degree in Pediatric Dentistry from Temple University, with residency at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. She obtained an extensive background in behavior management working with special needs and long-term patients. Her nurturing nature led her to expand her practice beyond pediatric dentistry to include hospital dentistry, providing oral rehabilitation to children that cannot be treated in a regular office setting. She is one of the few pediatric dentists in Broward County to perform pediatric dental surgery in local hospitals and surgical centers. Dr. Gomes-Ruane is also educating the next generation of pediatric dentists. She is faculty at Nova Southeastern University. She also volunteers at the Kids In Distress dental clinic.

t’s no surprise that TAG USA Gymnastics continues to produce champions. It is the premier gymnastics center in Broward County. TAG USA offers recreational gymnastics classes for children of all ages and skill levels starting with Mommy and Me and Preschool classes held in its toddler play zone. There are beginner through advanced classes for children ages four through 16. All programs are designed to immerse children in athletic gymnastics, increase their self-esteem and help develop their strength, coordination and confidence. For advanced athletes, TAG USA Gymnastics has competitive teams in gymnastics, trampoline and tumbling, and cheerleading. TAG USA has won two consecutive USAG State Championships for Level 3 and Level 4. One of the reasons TAG USA Gymnastics is so successful is because of its state-of-the-art training center. The 38,000 square-foot, air conditioned gym provides plenty of space for everyone; there is no sharing of equipment or floor space. TAG USA Gymnastics offers more than just gymnastics. Its birthday parties are always popular, as are its Big Messy Art and Gym Jammers Sports programs. It also offers indoor basketball and adult spin and fitness classes.
