Finding Childcare is Fast, Convenient with with Broomfield’s Childcare Connect

It used to be challenging and somewhat of a hassle searching for childcare options. Who? Where? Hours? Location? But all that’s changed with Broomfield Childcare Connect.

With just a few clicks (and at no charge) parents and guardians can assess childcare options, conduct interviews, and make a decision. As we know, finding quality, trustworthy childcare is one of the most important decisions we’ll make as parents.

“I’ve used that website before and it’s great,” explained Thornton resident Teresa Walker, who works in Broomfield. “I’m so happy with my in-home provider. Broomfield Childcare Connect gave me the name, location, phone number, and email address of my licensed childcare mom.”

So, I gave it a try. I went about exploring the process one afternoon and here’s what I learned about finding all types of childcare, all in one place.

Visit www.broomfieldchildcareconnect.org and key in your youngsters’ ages and the city or zip code in which you need childcare. As an example, I chose Broomfield and indicated that I need childcare for a toddler (18-35 months) and school-age child (5+ years). Click on submit and voilà! The results yielded some two dozen childcare centers and home-based childcare options, including contact information.

The website allows visitors to explore physical childcare programs based on location and children’s age. Or, it even allows the opportunity to explore virtual childcare programs.

Website filters allow the ability to choose full or part-time care, before and after-school availability and to find childcare providers that have openings right now.

Providers are regularly updating information to showcase available openings. It’s easy, also, to quickly find providers accepting new families.

Visitors to the site can even save and create a list of favorite childcare options to refer back to at a later date.

Don’t forget to create an account on that website to save your list of favorite childcare providers. All that’s needed is your name and email address.

Search all available options, including full-time, part-time, before and after school care, and summer camp programs.

The website offers an opportunity for families making use of the site and childcare providers listed on the site, to report an issue, if necessary.
