July 27 is the Broomfield Chamber’s Annual Festival of Local Food and Drink: The Taste of Broomfield
By Bette Erickson
People from throughout the north metro area look forward to gathering each year to attend the Broomfield Chamber of Commerce Taste of Broomfield Event. The public event is a great opportunity to join friends and neighbors for an evening to remember, sampling delicious local food and drink in an indoor street festival environment.
Participants get to enjoy bite-sized dishes prepared by an all-star lineup of talent from area restaurants serving up tasty attractions that reflect their signature style. Local breweries and distilleries will offer tastings as well.
Our Broomfield, an event sponsor, caught up with Andrea Warren, events director with the Chamber, and asked how many years the Taste of Broomfield has been going.
“The oldest document I could find for this event is from 1996,” she explained. “Making this our 27th year.”
When asked about any new restaurants that might be participating this year, she replied, “We have many new restaurants in Broomfield, and we look forward to hosting them to showcase their menus and new locations.”
She said the Chamber is expecting 30 to 40 food and beverage vendors, 12 non-profit organizations, and 15-20 local businesses. The Taste of Broomfield is one of those marquee annual Broomfield events, eagerly anticipated by the community. If you have not been, plan to attend this year and learn why!
