Major Achievements 2011:

DEPARTMENT of Finance

Educating professionals in corporate finance and security markets.

The Department of Finance at Oulu Business School educates professionals to meet the expanding needs of the finance sector. The Department of Finance offers education in two main areas of finance theory; the theory of corporate finance and the pricing theory of various securities in the markets. Corporate finance examines how firms acquire and allocate capital. The theory on security pricing helps us to understand how different securities are priced in the securities markets.

Professor Hannu Kahra, Head of Department
