BIOGRAPHIES
T.J. Gerckens (Theatre & Dance Dept. Chair/Artistic Director) is the lighting design faculty member at Otterbein University, a USA829 Union Lighting Designer, and proud Otterbein alumnus. At Otterbein, he has designed the lighting for Gentleman’s Guide, Into a Lamplit Room, Dance Concert 2020: The Wild Within (with John Diver), Chicago, Oklahoma!, Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Diary of Anne Frank, Adding Machine: A Musical, Damn Yankees, Dance 2016: The Goddess, The Crucible, Fiddler on the Roof, Dance 2015: Famously Yours...Forever, Dance 2014: Tell-Tale Poe, and Into the Woods. As a freelance lighting designer, T.J. has been part of the design team for the Tony Award winner and MacArthur Foundation “Genius” Mary Zimmerman for the last 27 years. Most recently, he designed lighting for the new opera Eurydice, by Sarah Ruhl and Matthew Aucoin at the Metropolitan Opera and L.A. Opera, The Music Man at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago, the world premiere of The Steadfast Tin Soldier at Chicago’s Lookingglass Theatre, the recent revival of Metamorphoses at the Guthrie Theatre and Berkeley Rep, and Rusalka at the Metropolitan Opera in NYC. Other notable designs include The Odyssey at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Wonderful Town at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago, Guys & Dolls in L.A., and Treasure Island at the Lookingglass Theatre and Berkeley Rep. His lighting designs have been seen at regional theatres across the United States, on and off Broadway, and at the Metropolitan Opera. Internationally, he has designed in England, Australia, and at the LaScala Opera House in Milan, Italy. He has received numerous awards for his designs including New York’s Drama Desk Award and Lortel Awards for his lighting of Metamorphoses on and off Broadway, Jefferson Awards for The Odyssey and Metamorphoses in Chicago, and an award for “Exemplifying the Art of Collaboration” given to the Zimmerman design team by Entertainment Design Magazine. You can see his designs for Lucia di Lammermoor and La Sonnambula on DVDs released by the Metropolitan Opera. T.J. holds a BFA from Otterbein University and an MFA from Boston University. He is married to set designer, scenic artist, and Otterbein adjunct instructor Stephanie R. Gerckens. Melissa Lusher (Director) is a tenured Professor of acting, speech, and dialects in the Otterbein Department of Theatre and Dance, where she also serves as the Director of the B.F.A. Acting Program and the Resident Speech/Dialects Coach. She was deeply honored to receive Otterbein’s 2018 Teacher of the Year award. Melissa holds an M.F.A. in Acting from the combined program of Carnegie Mellon University and the Moscow Art Theatre, and a B.F.A. in Acting from Carnegie Mellon. She is also a certified teacher of the Michael Chekhov acting technique through the Great Lakes Michael Chekhov Consortium. Her directorial debut production of Spring Awakening at Otterbein in 2012 was named one of the Best 10 Shows of the Year by The Columbus Dispatch. The Otterbein production of Chicago that she directed was awarded the same honor in 2019. Other favorite Otterbein directing credits include A Lie of the Mind, “Master Harold”... and the Boys, Rumors, The Crucible, RENT, The Greeks: The Murders, The Invention of Theater, and No Exit. Favorite acting credits include Martha in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (Otterbein), Barbara in August: Osage County (Otterbein), Goneril in King Lear (Actors’ Theatre), Clytemnestra in The Greeks (Moscow Art Theatre), Marina in Volodya (LaMaMa E.T.C.), Margaret in Richard III (AST), and the title role in Miss Julie (CMU). Melissa sends her deepest gratitude to the entire company of A Little Night Music for embracing this new approach with such commitment and creativity. Lori Kay Harvey (Music Director) is in her 16th year as a member of the musical theatre faculty at Otterbein. She has music directed over 35 shows in central Ohio and throughout the US and has performed extensively as an actor/ singer/ dancer on both national and international tours and in numerous regional theatres. Recent Otterbein credits include Something Rotten, A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, Into A Lamplit Room, The Theory of Relativity, Chicago, Singin’ in the Rain, Big Fish, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and Adding Machine. Stella Hiatt Kane (Choreographer) is a professor in the Otterbein Department of Theatre and Dance and Director of Dance. She is also the founding Artistic Director of JazzMet. Ms. Kane has been a member of the national companies of Sugar and Bob Fosses’ Dancin’ and a member of the national and international companies of The American Dance Machine. She has made television appearances in productions such as PBS’ Dance in America and The Ann Reinking Special with Ann Reinking, Chita Rivera and Ben Vereen. Ms. Kane has taught for New York’s American Dance Machine/Harkness House and the Actors’ and Directors’ Lab. She has been a visiting guest artist/teacher at several universities including The Ohio State University and New York University and has been a master teacher in residence at the Northern Ballet Theatre in Leeds, England. She has also been a guest choreographer for BalletMet and Columbus Dance Theatre, including the world premiere of Women Leading. Her most current Otterbein collaborations have included Something Rotten, The Pajama Game, and Chicago. Additionally, she has directed and choreographed the recent Otterbein University productions of The Wild Within and Move Me. Dan Gray (Scenic Designer) happily re-joins Otterbein this season. Dan has designed numerous productions for Otterbein over the years including A Lie of the Mind, Guys & Dolls, Oklahoma!, Clybourne Park, Adding Machine: A Musical, Rumors and Julius Caesar. Dan’s many regional theatre credits include designs for The George Street Playhouse, Capital Rep, Players Theatre Columbus, the Delaware Theatre Company, The Human Race Theatre Co., and CATCO. He also designs for many Central Ohio companies including BalletMet, Opera Columbus, The Dayton Ballet, and The Columbus Symphony. Dan recently retired as the the Resident Scenic Designer with The Ohio State University Department of Theatre, Film and Media Arts. He is now enjoying his relaxed schedule as Associate Professor, Emeritus. Rebecca White (Costume Designer) is the Director of Design & Technology and has served as Otterbein’s Faculty Costume Designer since 2007. Rebecca teaches courses in Costume Design, Costume/Fashion History, Costume Crafts and Stage Makeup. In addition to designing costumes for many Otterbein productions, Rebecca mentors student costume designers. A few of Rebecca’s favorite designs at Otterbein are The Importance of Being Earnest, School for Scandal, and The Wild Within. Rebecca is originally from Minnesota and earned a Bachelor of Science in Theatre Arts from the University of Wisconsin, LaCrosse and a Master of Fine Arts in Costume Design & Technology from the University of Minnesota. Outside of Otterbein, Rebecca has designed costumes for Short North Stage, Denison University’s Singers Theatre, and Park Square Theatre, with additional costume work for The Milwaukee Rep, Penumbra Theatre Company, Trinity Rep, & The Santa Fe Opera. When not designing for the traditional theatre stages, she combines her two passions: theatre and horses, by designing and styling for equine artists and performers at Equine Affaire, All American Quarter Horse Congress, Midwest Horse Fair, and other national and regional venues. Jarod Wilson (Lighting Designer) is excited to once again be working with the talented staff and students at Otterbein, after previously serving as a guest technical director for How to Succeed in Business… in 2013. Since moving to Central Ohio in 2008, he has been a frequent designer with several local companies, including CATCO, Gallery Players, Available Light, Actors’ Theatre, Red Herring, OSU Theatre, and many others. His design work has also been seen across the United States and internationally. Enjoy the show! Keya Myers-Alkire (Sound Designer) is the Sound Studio Supervisor in the Department of Theatre, Film, and Media Arts at The Ohio State University and has been working in lighting and sound for professional theatre and events for more than 25 years. After earning her BFA in Theatre Arts from Ohio University, she worked with theatre companies such as The Utah Shakespeare Festival, Players Theatre Columbus, CATCO, Available Light Theatre, and Tantrum Theatre. At CATCO, she served as the Master Electrician and Sound Designer for 20 years, working with many talented Lighting Designers and creating a vast number of sound designs. Some favorites include The Anger in Ernest & Ernestine, A Tuna Christmas, Escanaba in da Moonlight, The 39 Steps, Fully Committed, Forbidden Broadway’s Greatest Hits: Vol 1, My Name is Asher Lev, and Ring of Fire. As a member of the IATSE Local 12 Stagehand Union, she also enjoys working on events and productions in Columbus’ downtown theatres and around Central Ohio. She is very excited to be back working with the talented faculty, staff, and students at Otterbein on this production. Josie Rocca (Stage Manager) is a junior BFA Design/Tech major with a focus in stage management and lighting technology from Lewis Center, Ohio. Previous Otterbein credits include Into a Lamplit Room (Assistant Stage Manager), A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder (Assistant Stage Manager), The Heidi Chronicles (Assistant Lead Electrician, A1), and Something Rotten (Assistant Lead Electrician). She spent this past summer in Saint Louis, MO working on the electrics crew for the Opera Theater of Saint Louis. She would like to thank Nicole and Izzie for being the greatest team she could ask to work with to make this show possible as well as all the other members of this production who worked hard to get this show running. She would also like to thank her family for supporting her every step of the way. Anna Grywalski (Costume Shop Supervisor) is a costume designer and creator. She grew up in the Columbus area, but her career designing and teaching costumes has taken her all over the country. Most recently, Anna served as Costume Director and Resident Designer at the University of Southern Maine, while also maintaining a healthy freelance career. She recently moved back to her hometown to accept the position of Costume Shop Supervisor and Instructor of Costume Technology here at Otterbein University. Highlights of Anna’s designs include Twelfth Night, The Importance of Being Earnest, and Unlock’d at USM, Million Dollar Quartet at Heritage Theatre Festival, The Last Five Years, The Niceties, and Refuge/Malja at Portland Stage, The Lord of the Flies and Something Rotten at Providence College, Fly Me to the Moon at The Public Theatre, and Mamma Mia! at QCT. Anna’s goal moving forward is to ensure an inclusive, constructive, body-positive costume shop where anyone can feel comfortable and welcome to learn. Melinda Murphy (Voice and Movement Coach) teaches Alexander Technique and Feldenkrais Method® in the Otterbein Theatre and Dance Department, with application to movement, voice, characterization, singing, and dance. Melinda is one of the few teachers trained in both methods; she combines them in her private practice in Columbus, and in classes and seminars for performing artists at other Ohio colleges. Since coming to Otterbein, she also trained to teach Fitzmaurice Voice work for its specialized tools for improving the voice and breath. Melinda has coached Otterbein productions since the turn of the century. She has also coached

equestrians, figure skaters, musicians, and competitive barbershop quartets and choruses, including the two-time international gold medalist Southern Gateway Chorus. Hannah Pohlman (Production Manager) is thrilled to be back at her alma mater as Production Manager and Stage Management Mentor! Originally from central Ohio, she earned her B.F.A. in Theatre Design/Technology in 2018. Following graduation, Hannah interned with the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, FL before returning home to continue her work in the Columbus art scene. Hannah has worked professionally as a stage manager, events coordinator, and costumer for several regional theatres including Mason Street Warehouse, Orlando Repertory Theatre, Columbus Children’s Theatre, CATCO, BalletMet, Opera Project Columbus, and Weathervane Playhouse. She also worked as Assistant Production Manager in 2019 for the inaugural CAPA Marquee Awards Program, which provides educational opportunities to the greater Columbus area high school theatre programs. Every year since she has served as an adjudicator and teaching artist before returning as stage manager for the 2020 Marquee Awards. Hannah currently lives in Columbus with her fiancé, Nick, and their two cats, Pippin and Spooky. Isaac Ramsey (Charge Artist) is a theatrical artist, painter, and muralist. He is associate professor of scenic design at Otterbein University and was previously a tenured faculty member on the faculty at Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville, GA. He is a graduate of Miami University and holds an MFA in Scenic Design from the University of Connecticut. He is a regular presenter at the Southeastern Theatre Conference Convention and is a member of the United States Institute of Theatre technology where he has presented nationally and serves as a juror in the Education Commission. His work has been presented across the east coast with companies such as the Connecticut Repertory Theatre, Cake Productions (NYC), and Actor’s Express (ATL). His web portfolio is available to view at www.isaacramsey.net. Patrick Stone (Technical Director) began his tenure as the Technical Director at Otterbein in the fall of 2014. He spent the previous seven years at the University of Arkansas as the Technical Director. He holds an MFA from the University of South Dakota and a Bachelors of Arts from Doane College in Crete, Nebraska. He is an ETCP certified Theatrical Rigger. He teaches classes in stagecraft, properties, metal working, technical direction, wood working, and motion scenery. Patrick also enjoys consulting with theatres ranging from professional through junior high school. In partnership with his new cats he is launching an alternative medicine clinic: Hom-Meow-Pathic Medicine. Call if you are interested. Jeanine Thompson (Theatrical Intimacy Director) is honored to be working for the first time with the inspiring faculty and students of Otterbein on this lovely production! She is the Theatrical Intimacy Director and Choreographer. She has been focused on developing the vitally important work of Theatrical Intimacy since 2005. She is also an actor, director, creator of new work, and a Professor in the OSU Department of Theatre, Film and Media Arts teaching in a wide variety of movement and creation techniques, and Theatrical Intimacy. Other shows Jeanine has recently directed the intimacy for include: In The Next Room (or The Vibrator Play) by Sarah Ruhl, directed by Jeanine; Red Velvet by Lolita Chakrabarti, directed by Ted Lange; Indecent by Paula Vogel, directed by Beth Kattelman; A Midsummer Night’s Dream, directed by Kevin McClatchy; Her Naked Skin by Rebecca Lenkiewicz, directed by Tom Dugdale; Les Liaisons Dangereuses by Christopher Hampton, directed by Andy Falter and Philip J. Charlie Adams (Viola) is a second-year student at Otterbein University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a concentration in Composition, as well as a minor in Film Studies. He has performed viola with the Westerville Symphony, the OtterCap Orchestra, and the Ohio Wesleyan University Chamber Orchestra. Emily Baggarly (Gods Swing, Assistant to the Choreographer) is a senior BFA Musical Theatre major with a Dance minor from Claremont, CA. Emily is so excited to be making her swing debut for A Little Night Music! Her previous Otterbein credits include Portia in Something Rotten!, U/S Poopsie & Gladys in The Pajama Game, Soloist Singer in Into a Lamplit Room, and Avabelle in The Wild Within. She conceived Dance 2022: Find Me in the Shadows which you can see in November! Emily wants to thank her professors for their guidance and mentorship, and her friends and family for their love and support. Enjoy! Zoya Bokhari (Lead Electrician, House Manager) is a senior BA Theatre and BS Business Administration double major with Marketing and Arts Administration minors from Frisco, TX. Her past Otterbein credits include Lead Electrician for Radium Girls, Wardrobe Lead for The Heidi Chronicles, and Assistant Stage Manager for The Tempest. Zoya plans on graduating this December and attending graduate school. She’s honored to be a part of this show and would like to thank her friends, family, and sorority sisters for their unending support. Matthew Boles (Violin) Currently a senior at Otterbein University, Matthew Boles is a Music Performance Major studying under the instruction of David Edge with concentrations in Violin Performance and History, as well as a minor in French Studies. His ensembles include The Otterbein String Orchestra, The Westerville Symphony Orchestra, Otterbein Early Music Ensemble, Chamber Ensemble, and Otterbein Pit Orchestra. He teaches violin locally and assists with coaching String Solo and Ensemble groups at the middle and high school levels. His string quartet Strozzi plays gigs and events on campus and locally in the surrounding area. He is an active performer in the New Albany Symphony Orchestra, McConnell Arts Center Chamber Orchestra, and Westerville Symphony Orchestra. Champa is the Outreach Coordinator of Christian Howes’ Creative Strings Workshop, was Onsite Manager of the Chamber Music Connection from 20152018, and is currently an Associated Faculty Member of the organization. He performs regularly across the state, managing a gig musician collective and performs bimonthly as a soloist on the Heather Pick Music Series at the Ohio State University’s James Cancer Hospital. Champa studied Music, Business Administration, and Arts Administration at Otterbein University and is a 2016 graduate. He enjoys contemporary music collaborations and has performed in premieres of works by Aiv Rubino, Kyle Price, Zachary Koors, Charlie Wilmoth, Rachel Epperly, Max Vinetz and Brian Riordan. Champa is a director and guest artist at the annual Olentangy Summer Strings Camp at Otterbein University and manages a private string studio teaching violin, viola, cello, improvisation, and composition to students across central Ohio.

Dennis Davenport (Orchestra Piano/Celeste) is a Professor of Music at Otterbein. Current teaching includes Musical Theatre History, direction of the Otterbein Singers, and teaching in the First Year Experience, Integrative Studies and Senior Year Experience programs. With colleague Jim Bates, Dennis leads the SYE Vienna Travel Course in May Term. What a pleasure to play Sondheim’s music in Jonathan Tunick’s beautiful orchestration! Jenna Davies (Assistant Sound Designer, A1) is a junior BFA Design/Technology major with a Communications minor from Durham, NC. Jenna would like to thank her family for all the love and support they’ve given over the years. For previous productions, she has been Sound Designer for Land of Ours, and A1 for The Pajama Game, Into a Lamplit room, and The Theory of Relativity. Nijah Dent (Countess Charlotte Malcolm) is a senior BFA Musical Theatre major from Monroe, OH. She is so glad to have been able to explore such a complex and comedic character for her final show at Otterbein! Nathan Frewen (Sound A2) is a freshman BFA Musical Theatre major from Downers Grove, IL. Although he is here to pursue performance in musical theatre, he has a deep curiosity, and wants to be involved in all aspects of theatre, specifically in music and sound design. Before Otterbein, Nathan worked as an audio technician for several years at Stage Door Fine Arts in Hinsdale, IL, as well as the Music Director and Technical Advisor for Four Seasons Performing Arts. Enjoy this phenomenal show!! Carlos Grunewald (Light Board Programmer) is a sophomore BFA Design/Technology major from Brooklyn, NY. He is currently focusing on carpentry and some costuming in his studies, and is also looking into welding. Carlos is looking forward to working on A Little Night Music and is excited to program his first Otterbein Production! He would like to thank his family and friends for their constant support. Davis Hoam (Violin) is a senior Violin Performance major currently studying at Otterbein University. A member of the Ottercap Orchestra and Otterbein Early Music group, he is maximizing his performance experience. He is also a member of the Strozzi String Quartet, a semi-professional Otterbein chamber ensemble. This is Davis’s second time in the pit for an Otterbein production, and it’s fantastic. The actors are some of the greatest I’ve seen. You’re going to love the show. Benjamin Hoover (Mr. Erlanson, U/S Henrik & Frid) is a junior BFA Musical Theatre major from Franklin, PA. He was previously seen on the Fritsche stage as The Modern Major General in The Pirates of Penzance, Nick Bottom in Something Rotten!, and Pop in The Pajama Game. This November, he will be playing Marvin in a classroom production of Falsettos. Nicole Hunter (Assistant Stage Manager) is a senior BA Theatre major with a Psychology minor from Columbus, OH. Recently, she was involved with Otterbein Summer Theatre’s productions of Mrs. Mannerly (Sound Designer/A1) and The Pirates of Penzance (A2), as well as Otterbein’s production of Something Rotten! (Assistant Sound Designer/A1). She is very excited to be working on this production with such a wonderful group of individuals! Ben Huntoon (Trumpet) recently retired after 30 years as the Jazz Education Consultant at Stanton’s Sheet Music in Columbus. He also served on the music faculty at Otterbein University for 15 years. Ben received degrees in music from Capital University and The Ohio State University. He is a contributing author for Teaching Music Through Performance in Jazz from GIA Publications. As a professional musician, Ben has performed with numerous artists and on many stages throughout the country for over 40 years. Among the bands are the Columbus Jazz Orchestra, Vaughn Wiester’s Famous Jazz Orchestra, Glenn Miller Band, Tommy Dorsey Band, Guy Lombardo’s Royal Canadians, Jazz To Go and the Rob Parton Big Band. He’s also performed in numerous pit orchestras for CAPA, among other theatrical companies. Andrea Bocelli, Wayne Newton, Johnny Mathis, Don Henley, Barry Manilow and Natalie Cole are among the artists with whom he has performed. Emma Rose Johnson, she/her, (Mrs. Nordstrom, U/S Anne and Fredricka) is a junior BFA Musical Theatre major with an Arts Administration minor from Sarasota, FL. Daniel King (Trumpet) has been a member of the Otterbein music faculty since 1990. He currently teaches trumpet, brass pedagogy, and is the assistant director of the Cardinal Marching Band. His current playing positions include the Capital University Faculty Brass Quintet and concert master / solo cornet for the Brass Band of Columbus. Mick Lozada (Wardrobe Assistant) is a freshman BFA Design/Technology major and Dance minor from Chillicothe, OH. They are a costume focus student and are eager to learn more about theatre tech/design. Mick enjoys theatre and being able to work backstage and help others is exciting for them. They cannot wait to see what else they can learn and how much more they can do as a design/technology student. Kate Maniuszko (Anne Egerman) is a senior BFA Musical Theatre major with Dance and Exercise Science/Health Promotion minors from Scottsdale, AZ. Last seen in OST’s Pirates of Penzance, Kate is excited to be back onstage to share this incredible story! When she’s not singing and dancing, you can find Kate teaching fitness classes at FabYoulous Fitness. Victoria Mesa (Desiree Armfeldt) is a senior BFA Musical Theatre major with a Dance minor from Miami, FL. Some of her favorite credits include The Pajama Game (Gladys) and The Heidi Chronicles (Susan) at Otterbein, as well as West Side Story (Anita) at Porthouse Theatre. She would like to thank her family, cast, creative team, roommates, Luke, and fellow seniors for constantly pushing her to be the best version of herself. Jude Mollenhauer (Harp), Principal Harpist of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra (CSO) from 1985 – 2018, earned a Bachelor of Music degree from the Curtis Institute of Music, where she studied with the eminent Carlos Salzedo. She spent the following season as Principal Harpist with the Icelandic National Symphony in Reykjavik, Iceland and returned to the U.S. to become Principal Harpist with the Chamber Symphony of Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Grand Opera and the Philadelphia Lyric Opera Companies. In addition, she was solo harpist with the Pennsylvania Ballet Orchestra for 10 years. Jude has appeared in numerous solo recitals including Carnegie Recital Hall, and she has participated in many summer music festivals such as the Marlboro Music Festival, Grand Teton Festival and Colorado Music Festival, as well as Music at Gretna in Mt. Gretna, Pennsylvania. In addition to her orchestral work with the Columbus Symphony, Ms. Mollenhauer has been featured as soloist with various orchestras, and in chamber music performances throughout Central Ohio. She has recorded four CD’s, adjudicated International, as well as Regional Competitions, and is currently on the Faculties of Otterbein and Capital Universities. Julia Murphy (Madame Armfeldt) is a junior BFA Musical Theatre major from Indianapolis, IN. She loves long walks on the beach and kombucha. Her most recent roles include Texas (Cabaret), George (Godspell) at Eclipse Indy, and Ensemble in Something Rotten! and A Gentleman’s Guide at Otterbein. Tom Regouski, he/him, (Reed II, III, IV) is a multiple-woodwind specialist with a Master’s Degree in performance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. A veteran of the Columbus theater scene, he is thrilled to be back at Otterbein. Tom has originated woodwind parts for musicals including the New York Times critic’s pick Then She Fell and Andrew Lippa’s Unbreakable. He has performed with TheatreWorks, The Color Purple National Tour, The Weston Theater Company and alongside Tony-award-winning artists such as Kristin Chenoweth, Alice Ripley, and Matt Doyle. Most recently, Tom originated the woodwind part for Songs of the Phoenix, a song cycle featuring works by composers including Stephen Schwartz and Stephen Sondheim. Stephanie Rzewnicki (Cello) is a mother of two, String Specialist for Columbus City Schools and performs with Westerville Symphony. Dale Saunders (Count Carl-Magnus Malcolm) is a senior BFA Musical Theatre Major from Vermilion, OH. His previous Otterbein credits include Nostradamus in Something Rotten!, and Prez in The Pajama Game. He also made his equity debut this summer as Drew in Rock of Ages at Short North Stage. Kylie Stadler (Reed I) is a junior Music Education and Flute Performance major from Mount Vernon, Ohio. During her time at Otterbein, Kylie has performed with a variety of ensembles, such as Wind Ensemble, Marching Band, Flute Choir, and the Westerville Symphony Orchestra. Kylie is also a vocalist, singing with the Otterbein Concert Choir and performing solo with the Jazz Ensemble. Additionally, she is serves as President of OCMEA, Director of Musical Activities of Delta Omicron, and soprano section leader of the Concert Choir. Currently, she is teaching flute, piano, and voice at Encore Music Studios as she works towards completing her degrees at Otterbein. Claire Stancy (Fredrika Armfefldt) is a sophomore Acting major with a Dance minor from Chesapeake, VA. A Little Night Music is both Claire’s first time performing on the Fritsche Stage and her first time performing in a musical! She is so grateful for the opportunity to share this story with the audience and for the entire cast and crew who have made the show such a joy to be a part of. Eric Stratton (Bass) is a bass and guitar player from Westerville, OH. In 2019, he graduated from Otterbein University with a Bachelor of Music in Bass Performance, and a Bachelor of Arts in Music, with a concentration in jazz studies. Eric is an active musician in central Ohio, and primarily plays in rock groups and musical theatre productions, and is a member of the New Albany Symphony and Westerville Symphony orchestras. He also works full time at Stanton’s Sheet Music, where he is the “jazz specialist” in the instrumental music department. Musicals are among Eric’s favorite performance opportunities, as they are a great way to work with new people, and they always present fun and new challenges. Some of his recent credits include: Spring Awakening (Short North Stage), Something Rotten (Otterbein University), and A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder (Otterbein University). Jane Van Voorhis (Cello) A native of Detroit, Jane Van Voorhis resides in Columbus where she holds a private studio and is an avid freelance cellist. Ms. Van Voorhis performs regularly with groups such as the Columbus Symphony Orchestra, Dayton Philharmonic, West Virginia Symphony, New Albany Symphony, Newark Granville Symphony and others. She has also been a member of the Classical Music Festival in Austria, both as an orchestra and chamber musician. Ms. Van Voorhis earned her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from The Ohio State University under the tutelage of Prof. William Conable. Jane has also been a participant in the master classes of Janos Starker, Charles Pickler and others, and received supplementary studies from Erling Blondal Bengtsson. Paige Vick (Assistant Lead Electrician) is a sophomore BFA Design/Technology major from Ellicott City, MD. She has greatly enjoyed working on this show to create the wonderful theatre experience you are about to see. She’d like to thank all of her friends and mentors for helping to guide and support her through her first major role in a main stage production here at Otterbein. Thank you all.
