Eric and Montel O'Connor with daughters Sadé Gabier (15), Vienne O'Connor (8), and Symone O'Connor (5).

When Eric O’Connor’s career moved him from Mississippi to Alabama, one of his first objectives was to find a Realtor. “With three kids, I knew we didn’t want to stay in an apartment for long,” says Eric. His company’s CFO referred him to Mechelle Wilder with ARC Realty. “It was a great fit.” Mechelle worked with Eric and his wife Montel to narrow their search. “We ended up in an area convenient for Eric’s work,” says Montel, “but we also love the schools and the fact that our neighborhood is unique.” “Helping families learn the landscape in Birmingham is a fun part of my job,” says Mechelle. “Relocating means almost everything about your life is changing. I work hard to be that ‘go-to’ agent that helps families have a smooth transition to Birmingham and surrounding areas.”
