Mr. Kolapo Alimi, one of the counsels to Adeleke confirmed to OSUN DEFENDER yesterday, that the appellate court would deliver its judgment today.

OSUN DEFENDER noted that the 60-day meline for the conclusion of the appeal would terminate on Sunday, a development that necessitated the delivery of the verdict today.

It would be recalled that the court had on Monday, March 13, reserved judgement in the appeal filed by Adeleke of the Peoples Democra c Party (PDP) against the decision of the elec on pe on tribunal that invalidated his elec on as governor of the State.

In the appeal marked: CA/AK/EPT/ GOV/01/2023, Adeleke asked the appellate court to set aside the judg- ment of the tribunal and validate his declara on as the winner of the July 16, 2022 governorship.
