didn’t have a center that facilitated onsite instruction as well. The new facility also provides an identity to the Department of Animal Science Equine Program that will bring more opportunities for outreach and aid in student recruitment.“ Linda’s experience in the horse industry was very useful when it came time to design the new facility. It is extremely important to her that the Cline Equine Teaching Center meets the needs of students. “Linda is familiar with our students and our activities, so she had some great ideas of how to emphasize the layout of the new building to meet student needs,” said Freeman. “She also has a lot of experience with horse farms so she knows what works and what doesn’t work with horse use. Because of that, she was very hands-on with our initial design and layout. Her input has helped us develop a very functional center that allows classroom work to be elevated onsite with hands-on horse management for horse training and broodmare management. The new center will ensure that future generations will recognize her family’s dedication to agriculture and OSU.“ If you are interested in investing in the Equine Program and/or facilities at Oklahoma State University, we have interior naming opportunities still available.
