LOGBOOK # Transit Tales 3 Photographic workshop

Berlin 2017

Logbook # Transit Tales 3 Berlin June 2017

The Logbook is an artistic tool created to offer every participant an opportunity to give testimony of his or her own field of experience and knowledge, thereby becoming a transmitter of pictures and messages. The Logbook is like a photographic road book, a book of pictures and texts. It is both a collective and individual tool. Organized by assignments, participants respond using photography, writing, drawing, and other modes of expression. The Logbook is a project developed by Studio Public and O.S.T. collectives, now adapted for Transit Tales, a refugee-centered photographic and participative project that took place in Berlin, in June 2017. The result is like a bottle full of messages; treasures offered by brave people who have opened themselves up to us through their ideas, thoughts, feelings, and desires‌ providing an opportunity to know true stories as told by their protagonists. Transit Tales is a project developed by organisations linked to participatory photography and communication against xenophobia : CFD (Barcelona), Eyfa (Berlin), Jungleye (Calais) y O.S.T. (Bruxelles).
