The Orvis Mission Two-Handed Rod Series is a comprehensive American-made 10-rod series encompassing the two-handed casting spectrum from compact and versatile 11-foot rods to big-water 14- and 15-foot models. Mission rods are the result of Helios™ 3 construction techniques, tested by experts from the Pacific Northwest to Europe. Helios 3 construction techniques dampen vibrations, making casts easier and more accurate with an inherent autocorrect that allows even a mediocre cast to be rescued by these rods. The increased hoop strength we obtain by using H3 construction means less energy lost and more efficient energy transfer. The Orvis Beginners Saltwater Weekend is brand new for 2021. We will welcome all ages and abilities to learn all of the basics for saltwater fly fishing. Based around Chichester and Hayling Island, the weekend will offer species masterclasses, introduction to saltwater flyfishing kit, socials, casting clinics with expert guides, and much more.
The Orvis Saltwater Fly-Fishing Festival in Chichester Harbour and Hayling Island welcomes anglers of all ages and abilities. Forge new friendships, develop new skills, and learn about saltwater fly fishing in the UK.
