NATIONAL HONORS Ksenija Kugler AVCA All-Region 1995 CoSIDA Academic All-America 1995
A member of ORU’s 1995 NCAA Elite Eight squad, Kugler helped lead ORU to a 53-24 record in her three seasons, including a 30-3 mark in 1995. Kugler teamed with fellow Croatian, Hall of Famer and current ORU head coach Sheera Sirola to lead the independent Golden Eagles to a final No. 10 national ranking. Kugler still ranks at the top of several ORU career lists, including hitting percentage (.368) and solo blocks (166). She also owns individual match records for kills (51), attempts (93), and solo blocks (10). Kugler holds several season records as well, including kills (717), kills per game (5.65), and solo blocks (82).
Sheera Sirola AVCA All-Region 1995
Led the ORU volleyball team to the Elite Eight in 1995. Sirola is ORU’s career leader in aces and led the nation in aces in 1995. Sirola was a member of the 1995 NCAA Pacific Regional All-Tournament Team and the Croatian Natiional Team from 1991-1993. Sirola is currently the head coach of the ORU volleyball team.
Edla Sibele Theis AVCA All-Region 1995
Theis helped lead ORU to the Elite Eight in 1995 a final ranking at No. 10 in the AVCA Coaches Poll. Played in all 107 matches leading the team in assists and assists per game as a junior and ranks in the all-time top 10 with 2,184 assists. Was a member of the 1995 NCAA Pacific Regional All-Tournament Team.
Juliana Moser AVCA All-Region 1996
Moser was the three-time Mid-Con Volleyball Player of the Year from 1997 to 1999, two-time Mid-Con Tournament MVP 1997 to 1998, and also two-time Mid-Con Scholar Athlete of the Year. In addition, Moser finished her career as the all-time career leader in games played, kills, kill attempts, blocks, block assists, and service aces. Finally, she led the Golden Eagles to the NCAA tournament for four straight years.
Ori Zuzic AVCA All-Region Honorable Mention 2006
Zuzic was a two time conference player of the year (2005, 2006) and a 12 time offensive player of the week, shattering the career record for that honor. She was the 2005 Summit League Player of the Year and shared Player of the Year honors in 2006. She has the top two seasons in conference history in terms of kills, with 626 in 2004 and 611 in 2006. With 2,307 career kills, she is the only player in Summit League history to have more than 2,000 career kills and added 296 career aces, 93 more than second place.
Laura Milos AVCA All-Region 2015 Milos earned all-region honors after her sophomore season as she quickly climbed into the ORU Career record books for kills and kills per set. Her 583 kills were the fourth best in a single-season at ORU as she was named Summit League Player of the Week a record five times. She was also named All-Summit League First Team while setting the single-match record for service aces.
